#928 is named for the birthday of Fred Kiesel (September 28th), charter member of the WF&P, who passed away January 7, 2007. Not many members left from the 'Brown Road' operation.
#928 was added to the 'motive power' of the WF&P in 2006. It is pulling the standard 9 cars during normal Sunday operation, however, since it is a model of a 'mountain' engine, it has the power to pull many more with ease. (I know because I've seen it done!)
