Actually It can explode. The the alcohol gets hot enough that it burns, Gases from the fire are released into the air. The pressure builds up in the tiny secluded space and eventually in bursts. the reason why you see a flash of light is because the fire can then get oxygen and it grows as does the fire on the alcohol as it spreads.

The hole is man made. I've dealt with explosives before. The area around the hole would be charred and the inner wall behind would have some structure damage. And notice how the screen blacked out. They probaly just switched clips in editing and smothed it up a tad.

The Bottle exploded because of the alcohol boiling presure and he alcohol turned into steam :). But on the other hand few bottles of wine can't explode at the same time so when if one explodes it cracks the others which causes them to leak.... So that's kinda a confusing :D
