@ilovechevy1 I have slicks now and as soon as I get my tax returns back ill be able to reconnect my spray and drop in a new trans that I am having built by SouthWest Gears. I went through 5 transmissions in 2 years thats why when we raced I was tuned to only 4lbs of boost with soft shifts. If branch will stop being a jew ill be in GA by the end of summer, Had a hard enough time getting out of Airborne units and they want to put me back in one. So might end up at Bragg
@boosted05stang yeah man u shoul also consider a 3000 stall..well i'm sure if u get your trans built the trans guys will tell u in order for that trans to shift right then they will recomend a stall..but no man for real tho..we raced atleast 6 times cause i still have them all on video...but i seen u had 3 of them up on your page all condensed into one vid..those was some good races..but we raced alot that night cause well..we had the fastest street cars their that night..no one else had shit
@bbrewer5 Untamed Performance has no issues with SCS whats so ever.I get along with Carl (sonic blue stang with ghost flames), we talk at the shows and outside shows. I think its the ones and twos from both teams that drop comments from time to time that cause issues. Ive heard it a couple of times from my team & everytime I put a stop to it. Louie & I had a disagreement about members from both team trying to jump but if he still has beef over that then thats on him, u guys do have nice stangs.

No, that is a larger heat exchanger. Bout to purchase one for my 04 cobra before I put a 2.76 pulley on it. The intercooler on these cars is under the blower.

I have a question for you guys, I've seen on Saleen's website that they make their high perf. mustangs out of the 3v per cylinder engine, however, the Shelby GT540 has 4-valve per cylinder heads on it. Are there any noticable performance gains to be had if a Saleen stang were to be manufactured with the 4v design?
I know it will never occur under Ford's watch because that would cause a Shelby-Saleen conflict of interest, but, just asking from a performance standpoint...
4v design engines creat more air flow allowing air to be entered/released out of the cylinders faster BUT they also take up space in the cylinder making less space for air/fuel to combust so in theory with the right amount of boost and a 4v design it should be beneficial yes.

Not sure. There are some turbo and twin turbo Cobra's out there that could definitely use an intercooler, not sure if this one has one though.

No, that is a larger heat exchanger. Bout to purchase one for my 04 cobra before I put a 2.76 pulley on it. The intercooler on these cars is under the blower.

MikeGT500kr, good observation. I have a question for you guys, I've seen on Saleen's website that they make their high perf. mustangs out of the 3v per cylinder engine, however, the Shelby GT540 has 4-valve per cylinder heads on it. Are there any noticable performance gains to be had if a Saleen stang were to be manufactured with the 4v design?

I know it will never occur under Ford's watch because that would cause a Shelby-Saleen conflict of interest, but, just asking from a performance standpoint...

4v design engines creat more air flow allowing air to be entered/released out of the cylinders faster BUT they also take up space in the cylinder making less space for air/fuel to combust so in theory with the right amount of boost and a 4v design it should be beneficial yes.

As long as you don't love Japanese made cars its ok to be fond of Ford. They make the best amount of horsepower for the lowest prices without having to borrow money from the government. AND they're made to be modded.

yea ford is the manufacturer, shelby and svt are just company's within the main company. they are all ford mustangs no matter what else they are called, sallen, roush, cobra or whatever.

Cobra Mustangs are actually an all Ford brand. They come with the SVT badge on the trunk. So Saleen, Roush, and Shelby are all sub companies of Ford.

actually svt is ford in itself........its their Special Vehicle Team............kinda like yotas trd.....Toyota Racing Development.......but ur right with shelby and rousch.......they just make the stock ones better.....kinda like don yenko in the old days with chevy!!!!
