Lesnar didn't take a dive he got his rib broken, keep making your videos and saying dumb stuff, if you ever actually get off the couch, went to a gym and trained, you would have some idea about what a broken rib or deflated liver feels like. Train Jiu-Jitsu & then you'll have some appreciation for how hard it is to when a Abu Dhabi tournament (like Alistair did), train boxing and muay thai for a year & then you'll have some idea of how special it is to be a K-1 world Championship (Alistair did)
Oh really, well in that case you understand the significance of winning an Abu Dhabi Grappling tournament, step off the Jiu-Jitsu mats and come step on a Muay-Thai mat, the next time I'm in Ontario I'd enjoy showing you the ropes in boxing or Muay-Thai at either Lanna Muay Thai or another gym in Concord. @thachozn1429 You keep ranting about Overeem's ADCC win. Did you see the opponents he beat? basically nobodies as far as ADCC goes, a small regional tourney with no great talent AT ALL. And no, before you say it, I don't think I could have won it. But that is irrelivant.
@thachozn1429 bullshit, he took a dive, he didnt even TRY to use his weapon which is wrestling and he played overeems game, he wanted to lose and get out
Dude, you sound like a tool, if you take a liver shot from a 260 lbs WORLD CHAMPION Kickboxer you're going to be pissing blood for a month. And to anyone thats ever trained before, you know that the fact that Brock had a delayed reaction proves Reems kick was right in the liver. You-tube De La Hoya vs Bernard Hopkins if you want to know what liver shots do to people, Youtube Overeem vs Gokhan Saki and you'll see that thats the same liver kick he used to break Sakis arm
What baffles/bothers me about MMA is the lack of knowledge that ppl have about the sport. Im sure I remember seeing the voters that texted in for their prediction and it was Lesnar 53% to Overeem 47%. It's a small margin, but lets be honest Brock had no chance. It's the ones that think MMA is UFC and have no knowledge of anything outside of the UFC.
i AGREE 100%. I was a profesional Muay thai fighter & transitiond into MMA, & I'm amazed at how dumb alot of American MMA fans are. I was at a bar during the REEM Lesnar fight and this idiot was trying to tell me that being a K-1 kickboxer didn't mean alot & that if Lesnar could hang with Pat Barry then Reem wouldn't be any different. After Reem soccer kicked the shot outta Lesnars liver the buffon walked out the bar. The only thing UFC fans watch is the UFC, & its obvious.
Guys like you are so used to sucking Danas dick and swallowing everything that he says, that you actually believed the bull shit Lesnar hype train. You UFC fag boys come up with all these excuses about fighters who don't fight in the UFC, call them overrated can crushers, and then when they come in and destroy your fighters you come up with bullshit theories and say they took a dive. You idiots will be calling Overeem overrated too after he knocks out JDS.
@thachozn1429 he wont ko jds, he was lucky brock didnt WANT to win orelse brock would have outwrestled and made him gas, jds is much faster and will ko or tko the overrated over roided kickboxer, overeem is at best mediocre.
Hmm, if REAL K-1 strikers in their prime like Badr Hari, Gokhan Saki, & Tyrone Spong (youtube K-1, these are real strikers & not some half ass UFC striker like Pat Barry or Anderson Silva, these dudes would run circles around MMA strikers!) coulnd't knock out Reem, I find it very hard to believe that a 1-D boxer like JDS can. As long as JDS fights plodding wrestlers he looks great, once he fights a real stiker thats in his prime (ala Overeem) JDS will be exposed
@maximumradnesss lets be honest, brock took a dive and wanted to lose, lets be honest, if brock would have wrestled overeem then overeem would have no chance
Hahaha "I don't really think the world is going to end... But if it does I think it's just one big coincidence" his only thought when the world is about to end is: "oh it's just a coincidence" *BOOM* hahahaha
it proves that against Fitch its best to just to go out there and lay him out instead of worrying about his takedowns and grinding style (makes guys hesitant to commit to strike against Fitch)
In the Diaz vs Cerrone fight. I swear Diaz caught Cerrone with a good shot very early on in first round and then it seemed Cerrone didn't really have a chance to recover properly. For the rest of the fight he just seemed slow and off his game. What do you think? I kind of feel sorry for Fitch. His lack of exciting fights has really overshadowed his skill set.
22 minute video, this makes me happy. After UFC 87 when GSP mopped the floor with Fitch for 5 rounds. I said that I didn't see anyone at welterweight beating Fitch apart from GSP. That held true for over 3 years, until Hendricks knocked his ass out. But yeah that was my nostradamus moment. I loved the rant about Zuffa hype, it's gotten completely out of control. The UFC just spoon it out and the Zuffa zombies lap it up like junkies.
not suspicious bro, just another stupid ass UFC match up to sell PPV's!. ALL MMA fans who know this sport knew the outcome before the fight started. Thanks for the Frank beat down Brock, and good luck in what you do, your a great athlete but never were a fighter.
It was only me that thought that Fedor's finish was a bit suspicious?... I mean, it didn't look to me as he cought really good with any of the punches (even Fedor seemed to me that he didnt expect Ishii dropping so immediately down and the ref stopping the fight), and also the end of the fight was about right on the time with the change of the year there... If the fight went 3 rounds, the year could have changed during the match... Watch the video plz again and tell me what u think...
Lesnar's plan was to strike to takedown. He figured he could hit Overeem first and dive as sooner then Overeem responds. He did go for takedowns but failed. He is just not used to fighting people his size or stronger. Lesnar also felt Overeem's striking and did not want to get near it if he could help it.
I kept talking up Alistair Overeem to my brother-in-law like he was Super Man and then he made me look bad with the Werdum fight! This kinda made up for it... Too bad for Fitch. Maybe he should consider going to Strikeforce.
lol and "stop trying to predict history" and giving predictions about Carwin retiring in a year and a half, and bragging about the Lesnar prediction :P
I dunno if I wanted to fix a fight, I wouldn't want to be taking like 6 Uberknees. Like you said earlier about guys not taking fixed fights by letting Wanderlei stomp their face
I heard a rumor saying that Cerrone was broke? You think he was taking all those shots to just get Fight Of The Night? In the first round, he DID NOT do his thang. B/C You know Hendricks was going to get K/O of the night already, and it's sooo hard to submit Diaz? Just saying, Just saying.. Suspicious. hahaha.
I almost feel bad for Fitch, because he doesn't have enough years left in his career to work his way back into contention after that loss, you know the UFC is going to kick him wayyyy down the ladder. There has never been so highly ranked a contender that could less afford a loss, much less a bad loss than Fitch.
I have also been thinking the biggest problem with Brock, is that unlike most mma fighters, Brock never needed to fight in terms on financial security, I am pretty sure that he had already made alot of money prior to starting mma, which made it a given, that not needing fighting pay bills, it was a given that as soon as things stopped going his way he would be out. I also agree that this was very suspicious, he wanted out with little damage, too bad for him Overeem broke his ribs.
I think that the fact that Brock was already thinking retirement is a bad way to go into a fight. As soon as the fight didn't go his way, he gave up. Brock hasn't been the same since that whole diverticulitis thing happened. He lost that nasty attitude he had in earlier fights, which may not have necessarily equaled a win in this fight, but certainly without it, he had no chance. He needed to go in there and just go for broke trying to get a takedown, didnt happend, and thew in the towel.
I dont know about the acting,, I think Lesnar was overpowerd and that never happends with brock.. look how overeem pusses him backwards with that much conviction.. Lesnar looks scared as hell. also look at his first 'take down' attempt. alistair immediately got his neck. And i also think that scares lesnar! After 1 knee this fight was over... But did Brock break his ribs in this fight?? Thats what he thought right?
Oh my god dude finally you see what I'm seeing, it just raises the question of how many. How many of these fights are fixed and/or thrown for money, how many times have I rented some fake wwe event.
Allistair winning was expected if lesner couldnt take him down in a minute or two so that went the way most thought it would. i took cerrone to win diaz suprised me a bit props to him. i thought fitch would win but i wanted hendricks too but damn no way did i see that happening. and gustaffson wasnt a big shock vlad is getting old and has been finished before, not many times but if you pound him he can be taken out.
Overeem's stance was too perfect in order for Brock to take a shot. So maybe going into the fight that was Brock's only chance. But as soon as the fight started and Brock's option of taking a shot was virtually gone, then at that point it became pretty much impossible for him to win.
@HBKCommish Props to Overeem for actually taking this fight serious and being prepared and in shape and having a great gameplan. I sometimes forget how long Alistair has been in the fight game, and sometimes it takes a little more motivation for a fight.
I called hettes and diaz but fitch shocked me.... hendriks should fight ellenberger , cerrone fight maynard , diaz against lauzon and pettis winner for no 1 contender cuz every contender lost in lightweight
I think Cerrone lost becuase he wouldnt take it to the ground. I mean we get it; Diaz is good down there but how many damn times did Cerrone throw Diaz to the canvas and then just walk away, I mean; you could tell about 5 minutes into the fight that Cerrone wasnt going to win it if he kept doing that; A big reason Rory Macdonald did so well was becuase he wasnt scared to take Diaz anywhere even with way less Bjj experience then Cerrone, Team Jackson screwed over Donald with the game plan.
Can Dos Santos out-strike Oveerem? Maybe one of the best standup heavyweight fight in a while. I hate the wrestle, GnP and laying there type of fight.
well if volkman is american then hes more likely then not to say hes for the war. its funny how canadians arent american but they are more likely then not to say they are against the war. my homies got duel citizenship and he fought in iraq ffs ><
@toffrashid it did seem odd but then again Brock might have been thinking to himself that if I go in for a double, I'm eating a massive knee from a K1 kickboxer and that's the end of the night. I think Alistair was a very tricky opponent for him. Initially i was like COME ON!! But now I'm looking at it a bit, just a bit differently
Suspicious? He was destroyed dude lol, the some thing happend with Cain vs JDS. You make it sound like it easy to take down, this guys trained alot of takedown defense plus strikes to counter them.
@vaju79 Yes your right. He was destroyed. Its not easy to take down a fighter whit good defence. But brock and cain are top tier wrestlers. and could take down anybody.
yeahh because overeem hammered him with 3-4 knees, which broke brock´s rips, and then give also a damn hard liver shot with his leg..he was in pain and could barely move. i think hat was the reason why it looked "suspicious"
Overeem ant an easy dude to take down, and you can't just shot for the takedown when he's ready and set. His timing is too good and he will conect with something.. most likely the knee or hook.
The public has a short memory if overeem wins the belt he won't hold it that long at all . Cerrone was outclassed i did not see that coming . Hey what the hell did i read somewhere bob sapp is fighting a gracie in indonesia wtf!!!!
I could see from early in this video you were going the conspiracist route.
That loss was very damaging to Lesnar's image. I don't think he took a 500k fight to get destroyed.
Don't forget that what Lesnar did against overeem is the EXACT same thing he did against Carwin (save the leg kick). The difference here is that overeem is far more clinical and accomplished a striker.
And Lesnar even attempted two proper takedowns in the first round against Carwin, before he was fucked up.
@Fruerik japanese people are possibly the most eccentric and over the top people ever. lame is the last thign they are. see the world before u make judgements about it. its alot different then reading about it on ur laptop from ur moms basement.
@Antix Perhaps we use the term "lame" in different ways then. I have lived in China for a year and am very familiarly with japanese culture as well. When i called japanese people lame it was in the context that they often prefer a show to a competition with already clearly defined rules. Of course, this is a matter of consumer preference and I think many japanese have a lame preference in this regard.
Karsten, dude, you crazy. Overeem's liver kick was so hard it made me cringe. Do you think Brock (who hates getting hit) would ever agree to get kicked in the liver? Nah, he and his trainers were stupid enough to think he could stand with Overeem.
Underestimating the enemy, that's all there was to it.
If it was acting, he would've let Alistair catch him in a guillotine or something. Dude got hit by at least 3 uberknees and an uberkick. I'm surprised he's still alive.
dude i love you (no homo) but you gotta stop with the Brock conspiracies. for the record I think overeem destroys brock 9/10 times (even before this fight) but there could be many reasons why brock looked the way he did in that fight. The dude had 12 INCHES OF HIS COLON surgically removed and had a 12 month lay off and was coming off a vicious beating from Velasquez. Couple that with his inexperience and all of that combined could've easily affected the way Brock fought. Remove that tinfoil hat.
the reason cowboy lost was simple nate ,the media ,and the hype got into his head ,see his pre and post fight press interview and see. donald was suppose to win that fight but because of these three reasons he lost .why?.donald refused to go to the ground
not because he was afraid of a submission but because wanted to beat nate at nates game wich is stand up striking .in other words nate made cerrone go left (made cerrone fight at nates specialty the boxing/striking wich is cowboy's weak spot.
amen on jacob volkman i was hoping efrain would shut his stupid ass up, so sick of his constant preaching maybe he should just become the next glenn beck instead of fighting MMA if he wants to keep doing that shit, im done lol
I don't think it was suspicious. This was one of those fights where after the outcome I was like "OK, i should have known this was going to happen." I picked the Reem but I should have put way more down on him all things considering, and how unconfident Brock looked at the pre-fight functions. I think everyone underestimated just how bad a year and a half out of the cage and having a foot of your colon taken out can be for your health and fighting ability.
the liver kick is much more devastating than most people realize. its like getting kicked in the nuts. a pain than spreads throughout the whole body with about a one second delay. look at bas ruttens old fights to see how effective it can be. i called the nate fight but i didnt expect him to win like he did.... 82% accuracy standing strikes is ridiculous.
It made my day what you said about the Obama thing. Him signing that new bill is SCARY shit. Direct infringement of the constitution and no one is saying boo about it?? Reminds me a bit of Germany in the 1930s/40s...
@flahr1 Im glad you said that. Guess what he also he said before he signed it.... He said that he would NOT sign the bill, so yeah just take his word for it. Also many senators have already said that this bill is FOR American citizens. Don't get rapped up in the political BS, this is fully directed towards American citizens.
The thing u gotta realize, is that overeem gained new fans with this fight. Those new fans are like holy shit this guy is unstoppable without knowledge to his prior achievements so it's ok haha
Saying the Brock Fight is fixed is retarded on the highest level. Maybe he Just froze up, but it's not like we haven't seen him stop fighting before. Brock just isn't a fighter and never will be. He can't take shots from guys like the reem.
I agree, an example of Karsten saying that mma fans have short term memory. in this case Karsten is the mma fan that's forgotten that Brock Lesnar is a mediocre fighter that's most evident in his past 3 fights
I like u speaking mind. Bro, u & brock with them conspiracies, lol. 1st, u wanted to see the colon! or not sick, now think he took ufc dive. I see point but i think heart not in it, had doubts. Went in defeated already with doubts. Even Dana thought brock going to win,so if brock quit, he quit on own. Bro, GSP is our CANUCK pimp ex garbage man. U got not love for a brother? U see Fedor's 2nd freebie? 1 more & maybe ufc? I doubt myself. M1 wants ride that horse till dies. wb, peeps missed ur vids
i think its just that for a lot of ppl... my self included... it was the first time to see alistar in a fight where you got to see all the prehype of the "count down to ufc 141" and the interviews and then go into the cage and back up his words... for a lot of ppl this was like the first time they got to really see who Alistar is and what he is all about. I think thats more of the reason that ppl are like "wow" about him.. my self included.... and not bc he beat brock
UFC 100, you said that Lesnar is gonna fight just 3 more times and than he's gonna quit, right on the money! Now, is the world gonna end? Because I got some shit to handle...
i'm glad he retired from the UFC...for a variety of reasons. However, I think he will definitely do some freak-show type stuff in Japan (Hong Man Choi, anyone?) or elsewhere overseas in two or three years for some fast cash when his contract is up (and after surely making a WWE return).
good video but i can't believe you picked cerrone over nate. nate just like his bros trains with pro boxers and pro kickboxers. boxing > kickboxing (provided they can check kicks). i only see diaz bros losing to strong wrestlers.
I don't think it was fake, I think one of two things happend:
1)Brock quit plan and simple
Or
2)The Knees and that kick really hurt Brock who just had major surgery for the 2nd time in that area and his ribs were broke/ cracked or his stomach was really hurt from the strikes.
@MastaKneeGrow323 The knees did hurt him, but the fact that he had surgery there had nothing to do with it. He was out because of the liver kick, that kick would have put away anyone, surgery or not. The reason he lost was because Overeems striking is just that much better than brocks
i appreciate this channel for it's in-depth MMA analysis, but the constant attempts to do some psychoanalysis of a fighter's motivation is really fleeting and largely on empty grounds (e.g. Lesnar executing his last fight only/largely for the money).
cont. in the sport being fixed...i.e. promotions no longer having their own belts, some type of universal ranking system etc. This is why mma becoming synonymous with the ufc to the general public is such a problem because if the promotion takes a hit, the whole sport takes a hit. And I have yet to see the Dream card. lol Doesn't sound good.
It would be interesting if you did a vid on what could be in store for 2012. This might piss some people off, but I have some serious doubts that mma is still going to be mainstream in North America (Canada and U.S.) in the next 2 years. The buyrates have been down across the board not just in the U.S., but even here in Canada (where the economy isn't in the gutter like it is in the states). It going out of the mainstream might be a good thing though, as it could lead to some problems.........
Brock apparently broke one or more of his ribs in the fight (prob from the liver kick), and if we get medical confirmation of it, I think that will dispel any suspicion of conspiracy/dive. As for Brock in what he did/didn't do, a lot of it had to do with Overeem's smart gameplan of feigning hooks to bait Brock to shoot that would leave him open to knees. And bullrushing Overeem could have very likely lead to disaster along the lines of what happened with Cain.
Conspiracy my ass Brock just took a ass beating, nothing more to it than that.
Brock couldn't get the fight to the ground and because of that he got his ass serve to him no mystery. You don't fight with a K-1 Champion with just wrestling and nothing else we saw what the results were a one sided ass whopping.
The way i see it, Brock isnt good at gameplanning with his coaches (it's either that or he's bad at following gameplans laid out by his coaches). We all know he doesnt respond well to being hit, and those Overeem knees to the body made him think twice about commiting to any takedown attempts. Brock was clearly defeated when his body shut down and crumbled after that hard liver kick.
100% on the money on the volkmann part. Dude thinks he is chael sonnen part 2 but he is more of a jon fitch. He knows his style is not exciting so he has to try and make up for it in other ways but the shit he says is just plain retarded..
Never know.....Brock coming off of a near-death illness, biggest money draw fighter in the history of the sport...who really knows? In the end, with Zuffa and Dana, it's all about the dollars bro! Did you watch the Fedor vs Ishii Dream fight? What a joke of a fight! They threw Ishii in there as a sacrificial lamb.
Lesnar should have started in a 3-point stance and just "blitzed the quarterback", and as dumb as this sounds, it has always been Lesnar's best shot. The whole Brock being a mixed martial artist with a "strategy" wasn't going to happen.
If Brock had confirmed this was his last fight and made that clear, perhaps they just told him to throw the fight so they had someone to fight JDS next.
WAS Gustafsson imitating ANDERSON SILVA ?
You know when Anderson pretends to be Machida sometimes during the fight ? Well if you WATCH AGAIN Alexander Gustafsson vs Matyushenko you will see what I am talking about.

I don't think he took a dive per se. I think a) he was concerned about his already spaghetti guts.
b) never been hit by a K1 level fighter
c) he already doubted himself; while contemplating retirement probably since the Carwin fight...Ouchh! body shot; i'd rather be hunting or fishing.
d) most importantly; isn't a fighter at heart. He's a big man who thought his size would get him through lack of heart and fighting talent.

What baffles/bothers me about MMA is the lack of knowledge that ppl have about the sport. Im sure I remember seeing the voters that texted in for their prediction and it was Lesnar 53% to Overeem 47%. It's a small margin, but lets be honest Brock had no chance. It's the ones that think MMA is UFC and have no knowledge of anything outside of the UFC.
maximumradnesss 1 month ago
@maximumradnesss
i AGREE 100%. The only thing UFC fans watch is the UFC, & its obvious.
thachozn1429 1 month ago
@thachozn1429 it wasnt even a fight, brock went in there wanting to lose and get out, he didnt even try, im not impressed by overeem at all.

@SpiritMolecule1
You idiots will be calling Overeem overrated too after he knocks out JDS.
thachozn1429 1 month ago
@thachozn1429 he wont ko jds, he was lucky brock didnt WANT to win orelse brock would have outwrestled and made him gas, jds is much faster and will ko or tko the overrated over roided kickboxer, overeem is at best mediocre.
SpiritMolecule1 1 month ago
@SpiritMolecule1
As long as JDS fights plodding wrestlers he looks great, once he fights a real stiker thats in his prime (ala Overeem) JDS will be exposed
thachozn1429 1 month ago
@thachozn1429 Overeem won't have huge gloves to hide behind vs JDS.

Euphoria2g 2 months ago
22 minute video, this makes me happy. After UFC 87 when GSP mopped the floor with Fitch for 5 rounds. I said that I didn't see anyone at welterweight beating Fitch apart from GSP. That held true for over 3 years, until Hendricks knocked his ass out. But yeah that was my nostradamus moment. I loved the rant about Zuffa hype, it's gotten completely out of control. The UFC just spoon it out and the Zuffa zombies lap it up like junkies.
Euphoria2g 2 months ago
not suspicious bro, just another stupid ass UFC match up to sell PPV's!.

Suspicious. hahaha.
DamonSaesee 2 months ago
I almost feel bad for Fitch, because he doesn't have enough years left in his career to work his way back into contention after that loss, you know the UFC is going to kick him wayyyy down the ladder. There has never been so highly ranked a contender that could less afford a loss, much less a bad loss than Fitch.
smittatobanias 2 months ago
I have also been thinking the biggest problem with Brock, is that unlike most mma fighters, Brock never needed to fight in terms on financial security, I am pretty sure that he had already made alot of money prior to starting mma, which made it a given, that not needing fighting pay bills, it was a given that as soon as things stopped going his way he would be out. I also agree that this was very suspicious, he wanted out with little damage, too bad for him Overeem broke his ribs.
smittatobanias 2 months ago
I think that the fact that Brock was already thinking retirement is a bad way to go into a fight. As soon as the fight didn't go his way, he gave up. Brock hasn't been the same since that whole diverticulitis thing happened. He lost that nasty attitude he had in earlier fights, which may not have necessarily equaled a win in this fight, but certainly without it, he had no chance. He needed to go in there and just go for broke trying to get a takedown, didnt happend, and thew in the towel.
smittatobanias 2 months ago
Yeah cause a liver kick from overeem cant put a guy on the ground

I dont know about the acting,, I think Lesnar was overpowerd and that never happends with brock.. look how overeem pusses him backwards with that much conviction.. But did Brock break his ribs in this fight?? Thats what he thought right?

Allistair winning was expected if lesner couldnt take him down in a minute or two so that went the way most thought it would. i took cerrone to win diaz suprised me a bit props to him. i thought fitch would win but i wanted hendricks too but damn no way did i see that happening. and gustaffson wasnt a big shock vlad is getting old and has been finished before, not many times but if you pound him he can be taken out.
KidTw1st 2 months ago
Overeem's stance was too perfect in order for Brock to take a shot. So maybe going into the fight that was Brock's only chance. But as soon as the fight started and Brock's option of taking a shot was virtually gone, then at that point it became pretty much impossible for him to win.
HBKCommish 2 months ago
@HBKCommish Props to Overeem for actually taking this fight serious and being prepared and in shape and having a great gameplan. I sometimes forget how long Alistair has been in the fight game, and sometimes it takes a little more motivation for a fight.

I think Cerrone lost becuase he wouldnt take it to the ground. I mean we get it; Diaz is good down there but how many damn times did Cerrone throw Diaz to the canvas and then just walk away, I mean; you could tell about 5 minutes into the fight that Cerrone wasnt going to win it if he kept doing that; A big reason Rory Macdonald did so well was becuase he wasnt scared to take Diaz anywhere even with way less Bjj experience then Cerrone, Team Jackson screwed over Donald with the game plan.

toffrashid 2 months ago
@toffrashid it did seem odd but then again Brock might have been thinking to himself that if I go in for a double, I'm eating a massive knee from a K1 kickboxer and that's the end of the night. I think Alistair was a very tricky opponent for him. Initially i was like COME ON!! But now I'm looking at it a bit, just a bit differently

Overeem ant an easy dude to take down, and you can't just shot for the takedown when he's ready and set. His timing is too good and he will conect with something.. most likely the knee or hook.

I can't blame Silvia for earning some money in Japan. I can, however, blame Japanese people for generally being lame.

@Fruerik japanese people are possibly the most eccentric and over the top people ever. lame is the last thign they are. see the world before u make judgements about it. its alot different then reading about it on ur laptop from ur moms basement.
Antix 2 months ago

SpiritMolecule1 2 months ago
dude i love you (no homo) but you gotta stop with the Brock conspiracies. for the record I think overeem destroys brock 9/10 times (even before this fight) but there could be many reasons why brock looked the way he did in that fight.

I don't think it was fake, I think one of two things happend:
1)Brock quit plan and simple
Or
2)The Knees and that kick really hurt Brock who just had major surgery for the 2nd time in that area and his ribs were broke/ cracked or his stomach was really hurt from the strikes.
MastaKneeGrow323 2 months ago

It going out of the mainstream might be a good thing though, as it could lead to some problems.........
marbs0204 2 months ago
I really cant see Overeem taking part in any type of "suspicious" activity lol
xkillaz18x 2 months ago
Brock apparently broke one or more of his ribs in the fight (prob from the liver kick), and if we get medical confirmation of it, I think that will dispel any suspicion of conspiracy/dive. As for Brock in what he did/didn't do, a lot of it had to do with Overeem's smart gameplan of feigning hooks to bait Brock to shoot that would leave him open to knees. And bullrushing Overeem could have very likely lead to disaster along the lines of what happened with Cain.

Brock couldn't get the fight to the ground and because of that he got his ass serve to him no mystery. You don't fight with a K-1 Champion with just wrestling and nothing else we saw what the results were a one sided ass whopping.

LonelyOnWinterMornin 2 months ago
The way i see it, Brock isnt good at gameplanning with his coaches (it's either that or he's bad at following gameplans laid out by his coaches). We all know he doesnt respond well to being hit, and those Overeem knees to the body made him think twice about commiting to any takedown attempts. Brock was clearly defeated when his body shut down and crumbled after that hard liver kick.
