in a few decades from now space rides like this will be as common as skydiving...(not for everyone!...but an extream adventure for the obsessed and highly motivated!)...many many will pay big $ to try it!
this is an excellent idea!...i know a dozen people who have $ who would line up to buy a ticket for a space ride...(im 45 and my heart says I can't go...)...but others can $!
We, the British people have plenty of ambition thanks. It's just a shame that our government doesn't. That's why it's up to private enterprise to do this stuff. Funny really, how we can do so much in our garden sheds on a shoe-string budget. Instead of trying to please everyone and get involved in wars that don't concern us, why doesn't our government do something great for its people for a change? The money would be better spent!
Britain in space? There are too many pessimistic Brits for that to happen, better save their money to spend on building mosques for their new masters.

Stop it, you; the British Empire is no more. Space exploration and planetary colonization will be led by the US and China, the only two countries capable of building and funding the future of space.
I'd like to see the dim-witted Brit astronaut who agrees to touchdown on land instead of water...let me know how that works out.
okay, because that's not what the Soviets did at all, honest. You know, the first people to ever go into space and pretty much the only reason any country has a space program at the moment.
You wouldn't know that, though, would you. I also suggest you tell Mr Bennett he's an idiot to his face. He's about 6 feet tall and has arms like concrete slabs. Hard to be an internet dullard toughguy when he's staring you in the face.
In two hundred years time there will be British colonies all across the solar system. There will be a bronze statue of pioneer inventor and rocket engineer Steve Benett in Admirality Square, New London - the British colonial capital on Amazonis Planitia, Mars.

Starchaser is now taking reservations for its first sub-orbital space flights and has sold a number of seats already (first two flights sold out).
