MY census (Scotland) is still sitting on top of my pc tower next to me, this has happened because where I live there are three flats next to each other all numbered TWO (too long to explain this) so we did not get a census posted, the first number two flat got a census posted, then the other day I got a really offensive man at the door demanding to know why I had not handed in a census "I never got one I replied", you will be fined, "ok then fine me", eh I will just give you this one to fill in

Are door knocking census collectors obliged to fill out a form with questions on it regarding the census itself (such as 'who organized it? what are their names? where do they live? who is being paid and how much? who designed the questions? how is the info being processed and by whom and where?' how is the money being allocated and spent? Will any money ever be used for arms manufacture?' etc) should such a lengthy form and pen be presented to them politely when they knock on someone's door?
Even if you still fill in the Census, don't do it online and don't post it back make them send someone out. Imagine the massive extra cost of sending people out to collect all the forms. Especially if you have just posted it and they still haven't got it a couple of weeks later and have send someone again... I!!

But I also think the bond that can be formed between two people who suddenly find they are not so different but have a common belief can be as strong as any. People united by a common belief or goal is a powerful force, especially when the common belief is about survival, protecting our families, our livelihoods, our future, our FREEDOM!

Are door knocking census collectors obliged to fill out a form with questions on it regarding the census itself (such as 'who organized it? what are their names? where do they live? who is being paid and how much? who designed the questions? how is the info being processed and by whom and where?' how is the money being allocated and spent? Will any money ever be used for arms manufacture?' etc) should such a lengthy form and pen be presented to them politely when they knock on someone's door?

Even if you still fill in the Census, don't do it online and don't post it back make them send someone out. Imagine the massive extra cost of sending people out to collect all the forms. Especially if you have just posted it and they still haven't got it a couple of weeks later and have send someone again... I!!

the guy who talks about the census being used for socail and buisness planning is corect IMO, but the only thing that bothers me is that is is not voluntary. IMO that is a breach of the right to privacy. Particularly as this information could be used against you. Gulity until proven innocent, not the other way around, and you should not be forced to incriminate yourself, which being forced to fill in the census could be seen as,

I actually worked for the US Census this passed summer. Funny thing is that when the Census came to my appartment, I acted like a tweaker and told him that my name was Jeramia Smith and that I'd just moved there from a nearby city, and that I'd already filled out the Census at my previous residence. If your obviously tell white, tell em your black!
