youre not playing in hd. if it was hd, the pictures on the loading scrn would be different (you would see nikos gun in his hand, the cops arms wouldnt be cut off, and you would be able to see all the cop car and some train tracks on the last one). to put it in hd, go to [Settings] > [Display Settings] > [Video Output Settings] and click on [HDMI]. Then hit [Manual], and choose [1080p]. ;)

@alleypuppy That's a HD-READY tv. No point in running in 1080p since his tv does only support 720p/1080i. His television can't take the 1920x1080 signal so it downscales it to 1366x768 (720p/1080i. In theory, 1080i can be as good as 1080p. It doesn't really matter what he chooses between 1080p and 1080i, because it will downscale as mentioned. Hope I cleared some things up.

High definition (1280x720 and 1920x1080) has an aspect ratio of 16:9, which is widescreen. He is not playing in a 16:9 resolution because certain details that can be seen in the loading screen
