  • ♥♫♥ JEAN MICHEL JARRE ♥♫♥

Thank you for your visit to my channel

  • I really didn't like this video. Jean Michel Jarre is a master and a high quality musician, but, when i hear Patrick Rondat´s interpretation, i just hear many different mistakes hidden by a little slide noise. He is completely out of the tempo without mention that the beat is exactly like a metronome. About his technique, i hear Patrick misses a lot of notes and isn't accurate.

I think both know what's happenin' musically and that's the reason for Jean Michel's laughter!

  • @triskelion86

Where is Rondat out of tempo again? I can't hear it myself, but then perhaps you're more ... musically in tune than I am. Logically if his beat is a metronome, he wouldn't fall behind, but that's my take. I didn't hear any mistakes either, or perhaps any mistakes that *matter*. You can still hear it's 'Storm' by Vivaldi, so his mistakes must not be that dire, no?

  • @triskelion86 This Patrick is terrible... Even a novice can hear that this has been a fuck up of historical proportions! Terrible!

  • violin version is a LOT better

  • @fionashow007 indeed, but jmj still rocks here \o/

  • 1:19-1:29 = eargasm.

  • If only Vivaldi knew how everyone tries to play this piece in every way possible.

  • @Neeparr he knows it:)

  • @Neeparr Vivaldi would be proud, isn't it? =)

  • @Neeparr he would be delighted by some of them. for example this one. ;)

  • @Neeparr Masterpiece*

  • Shame Jarre never really progressed, would've been very interesting to follow. Some of the new stuff is good though.

This is too fast for Rondat...

  • I don't like what Jarre's doing in this version. This electro-drum beat is awful and annoying, the tempo's too high, and combined with the loudness of its sound, he's overplayin' Rondat who's got the toughest bit to assume. I've seen better stuffs from them.

  • @redl3ss I didn't know but Patrick was in G3 project also.

  • hermosooooo...!!!!

  • amazing

  • Cołkiem dobre

  • I like Jarre, I like rondat but I don't like jarre with rondat. Too many mistakes by rondat on this performance. I wonder if he was lit?

  • The version from Concert for Tolerance is better

  • FANTASTICO!!!!!....GENIAL, SUBLIME .... 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 DE ESTRELLAS !!!!!!!

  • FANTASTICO!!!!!....GENIAL, SUBKLIME .... 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 DE ESTRELLAS !!!!!!!

  • I really like some songs by Patrick Rondat but this performance is plenty of mistakes. Any violin student would do better this famous summer movement.

  • I really like some song by Patrick Rondat but this performance is plenty of mistakes. Any violin student would overperfor this famous summer movement.

  • WOW. Amazing. I love these guys.

  • The guitarrist is surely a pro, but here either he was drunk or the melody was somehow too difficult for him to play. I guess the second...

  • This is Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Amazing trio!

  • Great!

  • That annoying drum box is fucking lame that's for sure. With all respect, genius is not an appropriated word here i think!

  • Brilliant! thanks for posting!

  • e ovo nisam jos cula u ovakvoj izvedbi ..... supeeer

  • Excellent !!!

  • Too bad for the filthy electronic music in the background.

  • fantastyczne ;o)

  • Patrick t'es le meilleur!!

  • exzellent

  • excellent

  • BEN carremert GENIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • poor antonio.......he is revolting in his grave

  • Impresionante

    Eres el mejor Jean Michel

  • He sucks I must say!!!

  • O Koncert w Stoczni Gdańskiej :)

Wielkie widowisko, wspaniałe przeżycie, zaje**sta muza :)

  • Or if you really into classical - rock mixes, try Deep Purple and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with a piece called Concerto for Group and Orchestra from 1969 or the Gemini Suite...

  • It's not experimental either and it has never been. JMJ started in 1976, Kraftwerk, Vangelis, Shulze and the likes were already playing when he was still in shorts. Want experimental? Try Cromagnon, The Residents, Tangerine Dream, Neu!, ... Yes, i love JMJ, i grew up with him, but my first record when i was 7 in '76 when Canadians were still yodeling and the Mexicans...well they were just Mexicans with sombrero's and acoustic guitars... Out!

  • To all people ith no musical background or heritage eg Canadians, Mexicans(!!!) stop commenting how much you like this. You don't know any better. You still think it's cool to ruin something and make it rougher and louder. Surely Vivaldi would have loved to have had this power and thrust, but he would have hated the fact that a guitarist plays mistakes, covers them up with slides etc (0:47) and takes credit for it in a way that people think of him as a god. Okay Stimpy? Yes, the chihuahua...

  • Bl**DY BRiLL !!!

  • perfecto jan michel jare es un genio

  • i must say, i much prefer the children of bodom version. there aren't as many mistakes as this one...... there aren't any for that matter. check it out. just type in: children of bodom vivaldi

  • @leedevine666 it's live, not studio

  • @leedevine666 Patrick studio's version is better than this one played live. But in this video he really suck

  • @leedevine666 Well...

I found two versions by COB, one in a studio and one during a Metal expo in Sweden. Patrick has one in studio also with little or no mistakes. As for the live version, COB makes mistakes also, and they are sitting down, under way less stress. Also Patrick has a way better live version from 1992.

Although I must admit this one is hella sketchy...

  • @leedevine666 mistakes? come on... music is all about mistakes

  • @leedevine666 This is a live. The man of Children made it in a studio. Mistake = record again. Here they cand record again. BTW the children version sounds great

  • @napkin41 very true :P and its awesome :)

  • Super !

  • Viva!

    Vivaldi ...

  • This sucks serious balls, sorry, get rid of that fool on the guitar, loose the dreadfull beat and then maybe... Please Jean return to your roots...

  • @atzenanu you are totally wrong, this is a piece of experimental music, as candid as it can sound. wake up and smell the rithm!

  • @vmortiz yeah sure, but only the French and Russians love this...

  • @atzenanu sorry sucker, I'm mexican of indian origin, and I like it, long before you where born, that's a fact

  • @vmortiz so i'm a sucker now? Stupido you're Mexican...

  • @atzenanu just listen, can you?

  • =/ patrick a little sloppy, JMJ Great !

  • Vivaldi stworzył Dzieło ponadczasowe.Przecudne! ! !

  • Vivaldi & Jean Michel... LATIN POWER!

  • Bollocks. I'm a Jarre lover without question but Vivaldi would've been far more impressed by Malmsteen. This guitarist is terrible in comparison.

  • I think Vivaldi would have been blown away by that, JMJ perfect.

  • Wahnsinn, Hammer coool*****

  • Lucky.

  • Vivaldi would have given his soul to have had this sound available to him!

  • To have had that equipment hahaha

  • this is awsome but vivaldi would turn in his grave if he heard this hahahahahaha!!!

  • he wil shout rock & roll in his grave :D

  • turn? he would spin in his grave :')

  • LOL Turn/spin all the same to me!!! LOL Thanks for the message it made me laugh!!

  • just heard it again, made me think that vivaldi probably would do a triple backflip instead of turn/spin in his grave hahahahahahaha!!! Sorry this vid is just too awsome!!!!

  • Agreed =DD Maybe he did a triple backflip in his grave ?? =P

  • JM Jarre is a composer who was experimenting (and continues to) with electronic music, (of course Rick Wakeman also did his part), but tiesto and armin are DJs they are not composers granted they produce their own tracks but they are not at the same level as JM Jarre

  • @G5349 of course they arent the same

  • Adore his music♥bravo!!

  • pas mal du tout!

  • ja pierdziele aż mnie ciarki przeszły 5/5

  • and then came tiesto and armin etc...jarre made the electronica concept public beyond the raver fringe
