  • Thank you this was very helpful.

  • Thank you for your reply. I'm using 100% woven cotton. The thread did snap easily, but I managed to eventually pull a thread across the whole fabric, and trim off the little furry bits. I followed the instructions, and even watched the video again when it didn't work. Unfortunately after three attempts I still hadn't managed to straighten it. I admit, I cut it into a smaller piece finally got it right. But I'd still like to know what I might have done wrong? : )

  • I tried this, and found the fabric didn't square like it does it the video. Can I cut the fabric nearer to the size I will cut the pattern from and square it that way?

Hi, I need to know what type of fabric you are using? is it woven, knitted etc...

Where you not able to draw out a thread or did it rip?

Did you follow the instructions and saw that the fabric does not look squared?

Please let me know and I will be able to give you an answer.

  • Thank you so much. I was going crazy with this problem and kept trimming my fabrics to align them. Needless to say it never worked, and now I know why. Top marks for your vid. Thanks!

    A very happy insomniac
