  • hmmm iBeats or Lil Jamz?

  • Well, its not INVISBLE, but, there strong enough.

  • they still look good, but do they still play music?

  • iv only had them for 2 monthes and the right heaphone is already gettign loose and making a wierd vibrating sound dont buy

  • yes but do they still work?

  • ...indestructible maybe. But is the sound quality still good?

    And more importantly....scissors...cable...NOW.

  • ...scissors. Cable. Now.

  • @Fynniann I vote for that too.

  • I always hammer my headphones on a regular basis, this is interesting.

  • I got these for two weeks and the right earphones doesn't work anymore. It's because of the advance wires inside being shit. But the metal part is alright.

  • yeah the cables are weakest point, I've had like 15 pairs 13 out of 15 , the cables break..NOT the headphone pieces itself...

  • That doesnt mean the cables are indestructable.

  • If they do break, for whatever reason, can I get a refund seeing as you claim them to be almost indestructible?

  • But will they blend?

  • What's the difference between these and the Lil Jamz

  • Manufacturers need to understand that it's the crappy cables and connector that break, not the actual ear cup.

    -1 at marketing.

  • @Maevick I bought a really expensive pair of earphones a month ago, and the ear piece has already fallen to pieces. They're marketing something really good here, especially for people who wear their headphones down like mad.

  • @SGlitches Nope. just mp3 player. and psp.

  • Well. I got a pair. and whenever i slightly touch the jack... no music comes out of the right speaker... so... got like a fix policy or warranty or anything?

  • @mmcdmusic do you have an ipod touch? because many headphone seem to fail like this because the design of the ipods 3.5mm jack.

  • Thumbs up if your from Canada and only watching this because rogers is giving these headphones away for free with their cell phone plans.

  • but will it blend ?

  • maybe if he actually hit the headphones with the hammer they would brake, he missed every time except once

  • r the turbine pro golds and coppers just as durable as these jams?

  • jam or Lil' Jamz better?

  • Now lets try Chuck Norris

  • i think a steamroller would have a different story

  • shure beat you to the replaceable earbud cable :) also, will it blend?

  • the MONSTA JAMZ!!!

  • LOL QUIT BREAKING THE IPOD EARPHONES AND SEND THOSE TO ME ;_; the inhumanity xD LOL but seriously

  • Westone earphones are the better coz they have a strong wire !!!!

  • Can they make the wires like the beats where it is more thick and tangle free? thats like the only con i have against the turbines ect.

  • You can't call them indestructeble, befoor you test, giving it to a cat, for 1 day first..

  • Does it really need to have a Z instead of an S on the end of Jamz?

  • Lol what fakes. You guys are trying to imply that apple stock earpiece are of such lousy built? You guys weaken the shell first lol.

  • I got these and after 3 weeks the right earbuds glue wore off and the wire broke. i had to solder it back together.

  • Why don't find specifications on the official web site and anywhere?

"dB" "mW" "Hz-kHz" "Ω (ohm)" "membran diameter"

  • Are the Ibeats as durable as these? And if not, how durable are the Ibeats?

  • he looks like amir

  • @xxWOLFPACxx DUUUUDE! haha right? :D

  • next try a rifle

  • what about the cables, thats the bit i break

  • Do i get a refund if i break them with exactly the same hammers?

  • got them for $35 and love them

  • its the wire that usually renders the headphone useless

  • @hamsterman81 True i go through 1 pair a year for the last 8 years of about $100-200 in ear headphones. EVERY one failed due to the wire.

  • will it blend?

  • 0:50 hes right there wood and rubber, no good ;)

  • yea, monster is garbage with nice packaging. westone/ultrasone all the way.

  • Just got the Lil Jamz....if I would do that, will it break? just asking but im not gonna do it :)

  • @dreendroid Lil Jamz are made with the same materials and design.

  • haha this video may be fake but come on... these are tough enough for everyday purposes. Who the hell goes around with a hammer and smashes their headphones? I just bought a pair of these today and so far so good : ) but only time will tell if these were worth my money

  • @ericzhi How do you like them so far?

  • @MonsterCableProducts appreciate that u actually take the time to ask individual customers if they're enjoying ur product =). They are good - I mean i wouldnt pay the regular price of 79.99 (got them on sale for 50) but... clarity, GREAT attention to detail (seal sizes, management clip, etc.) but the only two things keeping me from being an absolute worshipper of monster cable are: 1. somewhat of a lack in bass 2. the jack was supposed to be glued, but when i got them they were loose.

  • are they tangle free? , and does the lil jamz durable like the jams ?

  • @TheKRNG Lil Jamz are made with the same materials and design.

  • You could've at least put the headphones securely on the table, most of the force from those blows made them go flying no actually compress.

  • Thanks for the unconvincing ad, Monster.

  • ibeats or monster jams??

  • Do it with the beats by dr dre

  • @ZZZiPhoneHelp

but those break on there own.

  • will they scratch?

  • i just bought a pair and now i'm listen to this video and the sound is more clear than real life NO JOKE there $139.00

  • try with a sledge hammer

  • Indestructible but shitty quality...... (bass sucks!)

  • Is Turbine and Turbine Pro also this strong too?

  • What about the cable and its durability? Why didn't they test that?

  • soo which has better bass, Jamz, Lil' Jamz, or the Turbines??

  • Hi Monster, Thanks for all the awesome JAMz and Turbine + Turbine Pro and MD series. All were masterpieces in their own rightful way! I am heading to the top for the Miles Davis Tribute, My Wallet so gonna wail and scream at the top of the lungs right in my face! But Too bad cause i think my Ear's wanted the MDs too badly~ Xd

(Yes and i am using the JAMz too, These JAMz shall do the bare minimum to sate my hunger for the miles davis to come in two weeks time!)

  • this is a pointless excersize and feature even if it were true. Having an extremely tough outter casing is of no substantial benefit, its a very rare cause of earphone damage. if anything most damage is caused by the cable being pulled. and i can only make the assumption that the quality of sound is not the main feature of these earphones and the toughness feature would just be a distraction for that and detract from the more important requirements of a pair of earphones.

  • This video is a rip off!!!

  • @Toshiboy25 look at our video... ours is real!

  • @MonsterCableProducts what are the main differences between the jamz and the lil' jamz considering they're the same price?

  • i have to lil jamz they r asowme skullcandy sucks aand apple is a fial and skull candys and apple high perfomce earphones r too overpriced for thier perfomnace i say moster calbe all the way even hdmi and stuff.......... and the jamez didnt have a sctreach on it lol:D Mosntercalbe is the best company i ever used for anycables i am only going to buy monster products for calbes and earphones etc

  • How strong are the cables?

  • @radicalstich Good question. The cable will hold up well and is designed to be tough but it's not designed to go under a knife or anything like that.

  • @MonsterCableProducts with replaceable cables they would be even more indestructible.

  • does the same apply to the Turbines?

  • @MrBrandonPeoples Turbines are durable but not built for the same sort of impact as Jamz.

  • @MonsterCableProducts understandable :D

  • if i were to run it over with a car would the still be intact and functional?

  • @xnickbox i jusr answered this question and i was not satisfied with the answer

  • @xnickbox We haven't tried that one but it's possible as our Forklife Test showed.

  • ive had the jamz and the lil jamz, both are great and very durable, but the lil jamz packed more bass and honestly gave me a headache, the jamz didnt. either way both were very nice... much better than the ones from apple

  • @ChiBoy717 Thanks!

  • hey, what about the lil' jamz? are they as durable?

  • EH please la. The hammer hit the board , not the earphones man. Look closer dude.

  • I have these headphones. I managed to drill through them with a jack hammer. :D

  • how hard can you pull on the cable until it breaks?

  • monster isnt lying look up for the: Review: Monster Jamz High Performance In-Ear Headphones from themegamactv and you'll see monster isnt faking

  • u didnot show them playing after bin smashed by the hammer they might still look good and dandy but do they still play and what about a wire test ive bought so many expensive headphones sum like £100 n they all end up braking from daily wear and tare ,, can u show a vidoe of all the smashing them if they still work??

  • Which one has the best bass for the best price? The Jamz, Lil Jamz, Beats Tour, or the Original Turbines? Thanks

  • What about the wire... the only problem i ever seem to encounter with earphones are the wire near the 3.5mm plug that's the part that fails.. not the part that goes in my ear..

  • wow they put a flimsy little board under it that keep bouncing to that it looks like theyre actually hitting hard and make us beleive he didnt miss

  • @MashkaTekoa Exaclty, the bouncy table absorbs almost all of the impact. I would like to see that test made on hard concrete floor.

  • wtf they miss every time, 2 losers trying to make money, now i wont buy.

  • are they waterproof?

  • @doggyf411 No they are not.

  • @flashevolution yup i like those skullcandy earplugs they come in cool colors and they have a good sound just they dont hurt my ears like the ones apple has

  • ya cuz sometimes we all accidently hit our headphones with a hammer

  • i call bullshit

  • @MonsterCableProducts wow.

why cut the video and show a totally different pair of headphones?

why not just close up at the headphones he hit -.-

if u look at the "totally untouched" pair, u can see they're untouched because there's now scrapes or anything not even a dust of wood or metal on them.

if ur gona scam people, atleast try harder

  • hey stardoll fever they make u feel like justin bieber not getting a girlfriend, good....

  • will it blend?

  • Will it blend ? that is the question.

  • hi, i got apple earphones and they hurt my ears alot, do these feel softer and less painful?

because i love songs but my earphones drag me down,

and where can i buy some???

  • @StardollForever u dont need the indestructible expensive just pick up a pair of skullcandy inkd for about 15 bucks (:

  • it would have bin convincing if there were marks on the headphones

  • what about a sledgehammer???? Sledgehammer FTW.....

  • Now if you really we want to convince consumers, use the same shot, and edit it to the next shot. Because now we can't know for sure that you really showed us the working headphones AFTER you hit them.

  • i hate those white rubber headphones Apple supplies you with when you buy an ipod, they just fall, they should make more in-ear headphones with a cheaper price

  • is that the guy from college humor?

  • it look like he was missing them and was just making the bounce of the table

  • Dear monster cable i would try to pull the Indestructible thing! First off theres nothing out there but two kinds of metal thats indestructible Tungsten steel is the most indestructible to heat. Titanium steel is the most indestructible to impact your isn't made from any of those.

  • Im going to put them in the microwave.

  • Try blending it

  • Yea this video is most likely legit, but what would be evan more dope is if they made it water proof. Now that would sell out big time, earphones that dont break or fry out....amazing.

  • @MonsterCableProducts ya thats y i was saying theres alredi proof 4 ppl to c cos y else wld u bother putting video unless it was to prank ppl with editing etc.. i guess i jsut wrot eit the worng way lol. Any yep the problem is always gna be the wires ive never had a pro lem wiht the atual ear pieces. lol thats i i also commented theres no point bitching at u guys 4 makn the video etc. lol must read wat i said as a whole to get the point

  • Ok I own a pair of monsters, yeah the ear peice may be inestrucible but what about the cord? huh!? Only 6 weeks untill I had to but a new pair!

  • What a waste. Who the hell breaks their headphones neway? ive never met ANYONE who broke their headphones. MAKE INDESTRUCTIBLE WIRES ...so they stop shorting out u idiots.

  • @realitEcheq I've broken my headphones quite a few times by stepping on them. My room is a complete mess, and I've stepped on quite a few that are on the floor, breaking the hell out of them.

  • Your test is all fine and dandy but it's never the earpiece that breaks....it's always the fucking wires that come out and break internally. Let's see you pull the wire real hard and see what happens then to the indestructible headphones.

  • when he hit it with the steel hammer watch how it jumps into his hand thats holding the hammer... wtf?

  • cool, till the wire breaks

  • there's no proof that they're still working after that

  • where can i dound them...?!?!?!

    =O

  • @zwuingzwangzwung You can find Jamz at Bestbuy, Amazon, Crutchfield, InMotion and others.

  • If you look closely at the end of the test you can see a small dent in the earphones. The hammers did make contact. Going through that type of punishment I wouldn't doubt that it would have some kind of wear on it. I WANT THESE HEADPHONES!

  • hahaha its edited, they never show you the ''not broken'' headphones in the same frame as the actual hit, the ''indestructible'' headphones that they show you didnt get hit at all, its a different pair haha, the power of vidio editing

  • @aharongecko1 when i first watched this i had my suspicions youve hit the nail on the head well done

  • u should do this test again on a better surface prolly concrete? metal? not wood

  • let's try... water!

  • listen with them see if they still work

  • well the board used to test the mallets on wasnt fixed and could rebound so absorbing some of the impact but i cant be bothered slowing down vid to see proof etc its there 4 me 2 c already and to all the ppl out there sayn its lies, well they made the video and went to the effort knowing they are going to get criticized so no point bitching at them else they made it tos ee if they can fool us. either way they only way to be sure is get some and do it urself lol

  • @gensexercises FFS man!!! They hit them with a hammer............. What more do you actually want??

  • @dy357lx2k @dy357lx2k loo if u read my comment again ul c i was saying that the proof is there 4 us anyways so no point bitching at them they made the vid honestly or to prank us gta b 1 of them and f oppl r gna b that anal about it they gta do it themself cos they cant jump in the video and see it there.the only thing i could see was theboard wasnt fixed so can absorb some of the impact but its still massive hammers on headphones lol so i reck

  • Consider this:

If the military wanted to make headphones that wouldn't break, could they?

    Yes.

So, monster have taken that approach, and achieved high durability. Industrial build quality in a consumer product. Thumbs up!!!

  • if you look at the metal hammers they dont even touch the headphones... RIP OFF

  • @nathandrooney Slow down the video and you'll see them hit. Don't believe it? Keep following for more Jamz tests

  • @MonsterCableProducts Can you increase the fps so we can slow it down effectively?

  • @nathandrooney they did miss but they still stood up to the other 2 hammers without a scratch.. probablly sound like shit tho

  • How is the sound after all that damage, and how long are they expected to last cause i eat through headphones like a monster, ( metaphorically of course) but i can never get a set that will work for over 5 or 6 months? any suggestion ?

  • but after hitting them like that, will the sound still work?? Or is it just the headphones that wont break? if you get my drift....

  • @MonsterCableProducts i want a sample pair so i can see with my own hammer an eyes e-mail me back an let me know how to get me a pair

  • looks like he was hittin the bord an not the headphones with the metaL HAMMER imma have to get a sample pair try it out with my own damn hammer

  • wtf is it made out of fken titanium ?

  • @MonsterCableProducts i would actually like to buy one :) just send me link please :)

  • That's insane. I would love a pair to step on. I don't think a normal person would be careless enough step on them, let alone expose their headphones to immense pressure such as a mallet. This is something that needs to be witnessed with my own eyes. I'm sold though if they can actually endure such a beating. I've accidently broken a pair of sony iems that where sitting at the bottom of my backpack. It was a sad day!

  • Seriously? Even the wooden hammer would have broke them. Hmmmmm... Seems fishy -.-

  • @ConnaghHBitch Keep following our videos and we'll prove just how tough Jamz are!

  • wth do u expect to happen to ur earphones O.O???

  • i Wanna try them!

  • SMASHY SMASHY!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MonsterCableProducts Oh, sweet... I like head phones that can stand anything. ;)

  • The headphone body might not break, but would they still deliver sound? Wires or something? Just though I should point that out.

  • There's no way headphones can handle a hit from a steel hammer like that, they probably used a special pair that is different from the ones they sell to retail customers. I'll believe it if I see it with my own eyes.

  • bin oui le premier critaire que je recherche pour mes écouteur c la résistance au coup de marteau

  • what's the advantage of that?

I'd rather go for better sound than "indestructibility"

  • i don't care if u hit them with a hammer, my chords always break, make a set of earphones that if you pull, bent and cramm in your pocket they wont break then I'll fork out the money

  • @Gunnmann2009 Thanks for the comment! We'll be sure to show the cable in one of our future Jamz videos!

  • its usually the cable that breaks first

  • You shoulda played up the fact that the board he was hammering them on split from the impact but the headphones where fine. At least thats the way it looks at 1:05

  • @Mrjhendrix99 Thanks!

  • @MonsterCableProducts can i have a pair!!!

  • I would prefer to see cable quality test, especially where it connects with a plug and with an ear part, because that's what's causing most problems.

  • @einerus Ok! Keep following us for more videos that show this!

  • @MonsterCableProducts i see... well try to make it more clearer and i appreciate that you respond to our comments.

  • Will they blend? Put em to the real test and send a pair of Jamz to Blendtec's youtube channel to blend in his famous blenders!

  • @castro5661 Great idea! We know the cables won't survive a blender but we'll see if we can arrange it!
