They're soloing/playing styles and sounds are completely far from similar. Sure, you can dislike one and like the other or like both of them, but just because someone expresses their opinion on a band that is other than GNR, that doesn't mean you have to diss on that band.

For those talking shit about A7X or ANY other band should really close their mouths, it's beginning to smell like dick in here. For starters, GNR and A7X are two completely different style bands. They're soloing/playing styles and sounds are completely far from similar. Sure, you can dislike one and like the other or like both of them, but just because someone expresses their opinion on a band that is other than GNR, that doesn't mean you have to diss on that band.

So are the people who bask and brag how their music tastes are better than others. If you were a real fan of GnR, you would respect the other bands that are inspired by them because without most of the classic rock bands, there would be no new generation of rock/metal/alternative. Oh, and being inspired by and copying a band are two different things. For instance, I am inspired to keep playing guitar through musicians such AS Guns 'N' Roses and countless bands of different genres and origins.
