it's on "sirens ditch" but was done as a part of DBT before sirens ditch. Fantastic song, saw it live in Toronto, not a dry eye in the house. Solo by the way.

Jason Isbell (singer of this song) has left The Drive-By Truckers and this song is on his solo album due for release on July, 10th 2007.

It was recorded for Jason's upcoming solo album. I was at the Truckers show in Cleveland on Oct. 14, 2006, they played this song but Jason said "This is the last time we will be playing this song. I'm glad you were all here to see it."
It's too bad because it is such a great song.

The Drive-By Truckers website says that it has not been recorded yet but they have played it a a few shows. They'll probably putting it out soon.
