  • That's it! I always imagined if I had a time machine, that I would go back in time to see the pyramids being built, to see the dinosaurs in action or a very young Mozart giving a concert. Forget it! I would go back and try to stop Mark Chapman anyway I could!

  • at least he got a chance to have kids; i didnt so far..i have a disability..

  • :(

  • @MsAppasswipe: It takes more than death to kill me. George Martin wasn't the "fifth Beatles",Mark Chapman was.

  • which point does he cry?

  • @tvlicenceevader666 You can see his lip quivering just before he turns his head away. That is why he turns away.

  • John and Paul had such a complex relationship. They knew each other for many years. The media would like you to think that they faught a lot, but in reality they had a love for each other that will span that space of time.

  • this is hard to watch, he can't contain himself.

  • I remember that evil day!

  • I Cried Too!!!

  • I wish i could have been there, i would have hugged him tight and never let him go

    poor paull...<3

  • not so sure he was hiding tears, but this was beautiful.

  • @mimmimooter Of course he was. Didn't you see his lower lip quivering. Why do you think he turned away?

  • Maybe he's tearing up because he's thinking "I could have made that an actual hit."

  • Shame they could'nt have got together one last time,i hope Mark Chapman rots in Hell for what he did.

  • 6 People Dislike this Post ??? AGAIN you SIX PEOPLE SHOULD GO TO HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @1266DRB You're almost always going to find a few idiots, no matter what the subject, giving thumbs down on YouTube. Just ignore the trolls.

  • @1266DRB People who can't appreciate the Beatles are already living in hell.

  • I stilll feel so sad ): they did everything together.

  • it must have been so hard for paul because at the time of john's death there was still rivalry and tension and i don't know this makes me want to cry paul obviously loved john so much

  • AWWWWMYGODPAUL

  • aunque aveces pelearan paul y john se querian y se necesitaban uno del otro eso lo demuestra paul en este video

  • they knew so well.... Paul knows what John mean with this song

  • he is so cute..

  • The you take is = to the love you make...

  • excuse me as my heart breaks...

  • @ conceptlab: I am actually.

  • thats so sad!

  • I wish I grew up on the Beatles era

  • Everyone know british gentlemen don't cry.

  • This is one of the saddest things I've seen. The top two was John's news report that he was dead and George's. (George's made me cry hysterically since he's my favorite).

  • Oh Paul, i feel so bad for him. John was taken away so quick, he didn't get to say goodbye like he did with George. John and Paul had such an emotional attachment, they were like brothers. I can understand why hes trying to hide tears, his emotions were getting the best of him and he was trying to maintain composure. RIP John, Paulie misses you.

  • thats a true and natural response , he misses his mate end of

  • The relation ship between John and Paul transcends anything that the vast majority of us will ever know. Before there was a John and Cynthia, a Paul and Jane, John and Yoko, Paul and Linda...before there was even a George and Ringo there was a John and Paul. Soulmates and partners before fame fortune or anything else. I strongly suspect had John Lennon not been murdered there would have been a real reunion.

  • Paul just bottles up his feelings in all media, that's respectable, but hell, maybe thats why he wasn't taken out. Is it coincidence that John was the most provacative and he was the first to go?

  • It would be bizarre if he didn't show grief for his bandmate and friend for 30 years.

As a person who basically grew up with Beatles music, it is so strange to see these men who were so influential in their youth now growing old and two already dead. It would have been neat to be there when McCartney and Lennon met. Paul said that they used to skip school to write songs.AT 15. Today, you can't drag a 15year old away from a tv or comp to do anything of substance.

  • @bashfulbrother Just cause most teens now are good for nothing losers doesn't mean we all are. I'm fourteen and I am learning songs like these on the piano.

  • @MBeats64 Well, I am sorry if I made a sweeping generalization. I am also very pleased that you have chosen their music to play. It is my belief that there could well be a series of classes done on the writing of Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison alone. Not to mention their instrumental ability. Lennon and McCartney were advanced beyond the likes of Rodgers and Hammerstein. Keep it up, there is so much to learn in those tunes about format and versing.

  • @bashfulbrother were are you getting that theory from?

  • @mynameis1994able First, it is w-h-e-r-e, not w-e-r-e. What are you talking about? To what theory do you refer?

  • Saddest video Ive ever watched. He was shattered. Look at his arms crossed trying to comfort himself. And his lips quivering and his restlesness. I think he was just keeping it together.

  • @ChArLieR0mAna

totally agree with you. it is uncomfortable to watch really. his whole body language said it all.

  • @maxwall7755 are you serious.

  • Two bullets and we can have a Beatles reunion!

  • @maxwall7755 I wouldn't kill you, just shoot your balls off, you hateful, evil cunt.

  • @hazifantazi now now gentlemen, please control yourselves. You have both sullied this upload, although I think maxwall was just being facetious.

  • @hazifantazi : I'm female actually.

  • @maxwall7755 three bullets and you could see it

  • @conceptlab : If only...........

  • @maxwall7755 lol, that makes you a big fan i guess.

  • @maxwall7755 One bullet and we wouldn't have to listen to any more stupid remarks made by you, asswipe.

  • Paul said he saw John as the father figure of the Beatles. I wonder if he feels a greater connection to this song because of that.

  • oh paul its okay we miss him too D:

  • Haha I do think they truly love eachother. They just have the biggest ego ever bestowed upon man.

  • @Hoboinaboxdestroyer If English isn't your first language then please disregard my next comment because I don't believe that you mean what you have just said . . . otherwise CUNT

  • @fbencounter

Likewise, because I don't believe what you have just said actually constitutes as proper English. O.o

  • Hi Paul we have something in common my best friend died at 42 and is name was John

  • uncle uber albert twists and smile 2.1.12 we made it, lol.

    no kidding.

    slap ringo's hand for me

  • I started reading a biography on Paul's life............. Him and John were like brothers.................. They had suffered the same things, and had to go through the same hell as each other..............So of course he was destroyed when John died.............. It's like loosing your own brother............. :'(

  • @BigTsTechHelp losing a brother is worse than a parent

  • @HaifischDoktor Exactly

  • please, Paul is a distinguished robot, he does not cry.

    j/k

  • Thumbs up if you would give anything to travel back and listen to The Beatles

  • everytime i listen to beautiful boy i see paul crying this vid is so moving

  • It's touching seeing Paul react like that. On another note, it figures that Paul would choose that particular song, it being one of John's more "mushy" & "lighter" compositions... stylistically it's almost more like a McCartney song than a Lennon song.

  • @Smudgefizz You're probably right on all counts. Knowing where Lennon was at in his life, how he seemed to have conquered many of his demons and how optimistic he was about the future and those he loved...the song is incredibly poignant and - most importantly - sincere.

  • this made me tear up :'(

  • anyone know the source of the full video?

  • Y'know I think that both John and Paul, even though they were really mad and annoyed at each other toward the end, wanted to make up. I think they both missed each others company but were too ashamed to ask for the friendship back.

  • His first son was Julian Lennon. I love Paul but he is crying for a boy that got all Johns love. Julian had to buy back things of his father from Yoko. Not right how ever way you spin it!!!

  • @teppie3000 Exactly there is a tape on here of Julian talking about that, John had written him a note, Yoko never mailed it and would not give it to Julian, he bought it and other things back of his Dad's that Yoko auctioned off, witch.

  • 4 People dislike this POST ??? You 4 should GO TO HELL

  • @1266DRB YES. YES THEY SHOULD.

  • @1266DRB Nobody human should go to Hell.

  • @1266DRB Seems they're already there..

  • @1266DRB Yeah. So should YOU! (know it all!)

  • @swiggy58a you must be related to mark david chapman huh !! have fun in HELL BUDDY!!!

  • hey i didn't know that was John's song, my mom used to sing me that when I was little

  • Paul loved John, and John loved Paul. It was probably Johns's closest relationship with another person even Yoko. I think Paul could understand some of John's pain. They both lost their mothers at an early age. When writing songs together they could be on a same wavelength that few others had. The thing I can see with not only just the obvious heartbreak in Paul is that I'm sure Paul would've loved to have played on that song.

  • @gm2780 cry ...cry cry cry ...cry hahaha kry

  • @gm2780 If you get a chance to read Cynthia Lennon's book, John, she comes off telling it as it is very matter of factly - no holds barred. She goes on to say that Paul was the last Beatle that John would hang out with. They were the writing team and very much like brothers, but not the closest as many think. It's a good read.

  • @gm2780 ..think like you.

  • @gm2780 wow. I'm so TOUCHED!

And what happened on "As the World Turns" ....today?

    GEEZ!

    You REALLY need a LIFE!

  • from :41 to :44 please notice the reaction of paul to john's singing "daddy's here", particularly the way john pronounces "daddy's" with the lennonesque rythymic accentuation of consonants for certain words, and then sings harmony with himself (not paul) with "here" as "he yah". Essentially a form of baby talk to convey feelings of love. And paul well knowing the impact the song will have on julian. I bet john even treated paul like a son at times.Very deep psychological connections conveyed.

  • @DENNISKELLER9 Oh my god that makes me so sad every time I watch that happen.

  • Touching.

  • Well at least he didn't marry an ugly, talentless Japanese bitch.

  • @maxwall7755

REALLY?!?! Yer gonna go there?!?! I'm so sorry for you. That being said... you're a fuckstick/

    .

    Really! You're gonna go there?!?

  • @j1thom couldna said it better meself, but I'll add I got a knee trembler from your ugly wife.

  • What's the first song called in this?

  • When John left his first wife, Paul wrote a song for Jules, John's son. which later on became the song "Hey Jude". If anyone is truly a jerk, it's John. The thing with Paul is that he was more of the musical aspect of the Beatles while John was more innovative. Long after the Beatles broke up, John makes a remark that Paul makes granny-songs. John got bored of the Beatles, he never practiced, he was a drug addict. Paul misses John regardless, and if this is acting, then what is real love?

  • Can't stand this guy!!!!

  • @FlybyNess It's sad that you have not found any real existence other than putting talented people down. Don't try hiding your jealousy you putrid maggot of a person.

  • John was the beatles!!!!

  • Aww, Paul. :,(

  • Does the same to me Paul remind of my grandson who lives far away

  • Paul McCartney and his loveley wife Linda, god rest her soul, are typical English people. I love them both for their humanity, and for their love of Animals. Linda was a beacon, at the forefront of Vegetarianism, but more importantly, Paul and Linda brought the Animal welfare cause to the fore, in society as a whole. John, Paul and Linda, were PEACE encapsulated. They loved people and they didn't judge. I hope we love them all as a world.

  • @eltonjazz AMEN to that :)

  • @eltonjazz Linda was from the USA

  • @bd9598 You are quite correct, it was so easy for me to forget, she could be taken as English or American, as she was IMO, a very mild person, full of conviction yes, but mild. She and Paul were made for each other.

  • HEY IF U LOVE THIS LISTEN TO A NEW SINGER SONGWRITER - JUST GOOGLE JOHN HUTCHINSON ONE LAST KISS

  • @jonti1000 fuck no.

  • What can we say about that?? the true feelings come out!

  • Nothing needs to be added to this..Nothing need be said really...

  • Lennon is living in my son and another children whos called Lennon,.Here in Brasil there´s many children called Lennon ,my son is one of them.

  • Cry Baby Cry :'(

  • @LtDrg35 troll on brother

  • @douchecock427 you know it

  • It's sad how Paul hides him crying it brang me to tears

  • wow i felt it, i really did...............

  • Couldn't psychically watch this :(

  • Thy lived the dream bt were thrust into a part of the world tht was beyond all thy eva imagined. Cn you thnk of t pressure of such yng men being togtha all t time.Travelling t world.Being worshipped like Gods across the globe.Thy never thought t Beatles would be so big nor did they xpect such media attention. Id shed a tear

All i know is they lived an experience together that most of will never understand.

Id be devasted if any of my old friends were to die. Especially if they were murdered.

  • this is so sad. made me cry so hard. can't even imagine how he feels about this.

  • Comment removed

  • It took them 20 years to get past the egos and truly love each other as brothers, not just as bandmates. I think Paul was genuinely sad when George died and will be when Ringo dies, but not as much as when John died. Theirs was a very special and unique friendship which should have seen them growing into older fathers and becoming grandfathers. The memories of what could have been, post-1980, has probably left a huge hole in Paul's heart.

  • @JumpStreet1983 what if paul dies before ringo

  • @douchecock427 If that happens, I personally think Ringo would be VERY lonely. All of his former bandmates would be dead. He pretty much stays under the radar these days and isn't in the media too often.

  • @JumpStreet1983 i know. ringo starrs awesome but paul mccartney IS a better musician

  • @JumpStreet1983 No he still plays and tours to this very day look it up for the life of me I can't remember the name of his band right now Ringo and the Starrs does not sound right! LOL Google it. I have to now

  • @bd9598 I am thinking Ringo and the All Star Band

  • @douchecock427 That would be Wrongo.

  • @tryithere no its not. i love ringo starr as much as the next guy but lets be real, paul mccartney IS clearly

  • I think this video will put to rest all the theories of Paul and John being enemies. I think when they were at the height of their fame in the 60's, the egos clashes because of youthful attitudes. I think Paul was more of the go-getter, while John lead in a more laidback way. The media only increased the rivalry. But as they got older and egos melted, they were able to put things in perspective. Believing your own press can inflate anyone's ego, and they were no exception.

  • It's an abvious act to me . . .pause at 0.48 you see him check to see if the camera is on him. McCartney brushed off Lennons death the day after he was assassinated by shrugging off a reporter saying it was "a drag, oh well" . . . They were not close when he died.

  • @Tonyo1221 My impression is that he's was trying, and maybe too hard, to stay detached. Checking a camera when you're getting a bit emotional is probably just instinctive. Memories of a best friend and partner, and who would want to break down in front of the world? Personally, I ball my head off at funerals no matter how hard I try, even if I try to keep a cool head, and barely know the person. I think it's kind of ludicrious to assume he's faking anything.

  • @Tonyo1221 I remember when Lennon was murdered and remember how shocked almost everyone was by it; none of us had the words at that moment to fully express the grief. For that reason alone, I've never felt like McCartney - an individual who by all accounts keeps his emotions safely away from the public - should have had them either.

  • they were lifelong friends

  • God bless you Paul.

  • Paul's tearful reaction is very moving.

  • He was was close to lennon bc they knew each other 4 a long time like 5 years b4 the beatles even started. They always say they were like brothers all the beatles were said John Lennon so all the beatles were really close friends

  • i think he took a lot of crap about the' whole 'it's a drag' thing. i think he was just in shock.

  • To me this shows paul is not fake becuz i saw on one video they he wasnt that close to lennon but here he is cryin

  • i love beatles, they really an inspiration

John Lennon will live on FOREVER

  • In Johns song Beautiful Boy, when he says "I can hardly wait to see you come of age but I guess we'll both just have to be patient cause it's a long way to go..." THAT makes me tear up.... because John didnt get to see Sean come of age :'(

  • Paul's Sensitivity is what makes him so great and so do us.(:

  • :( thats terrible :,(

  • its FAUL..remebering to be in charicter

  • @nativewuksachi FUCK YEA! THERE ARE STILL BELIEVERS OUT THERE! I KNEW I WASNT THE ONLY ONE!

  • It's so sweet, after all the fights they had...

  • Three people haven´t any heart..

  • i wish i could hug paul....

  • I didnt see any tears. By the way legends do die. And if your still hurting because lennon or harrison have died I dont understand it. I learned to play the guitar because of the beatles and had the haircut, bought all the records etc but its not like I ever knew them or were a part of their lives. Oh well to each their own.

  • @picker50 ... It's called EMOTIONS, I hope this helps to answer your question. Have a good life. ... MellowNature.

  • @picker50 uh, if you lost a really close friend that you spent alot of your time with you would get emotional too. not necessarily with tears, but you'd feel emotional. so please, shut up.

  • @NormaMeow ... AGREED ... MellowNature.

  • WHAT IS WRONG WIT U PEOPLE! JOHN AND GEORGE R LEGENDS. THEY MAY DIE ON EARTH, BUT THEY WILL NEVER LEAVE OUR HEARTS! SO STOP RIPing!!!!!!

  • Paul is talented and deserves props but IMO he has always had too much of the show-bizzy ham in him. It looks like the emotions here are real but couldn't he have kept it to himself?

  • Stop RIPing john and george Beacuase Legends dont die

  • R.I.P. John Lennon you will be missed

  • its ok paul ihe with lucie in the sky with diamonds

  • aaaw, paulie... he always loved john. even if his reaction was a little nasty. he was probably kind of shocked like 'whoa, what happened?' i feel so bad for him as well!

  • My Idol (or atleast one out of 3) Crying :'(

  • Oh my god, that's so sad. I remember when he sand Here Today at the concert in Cincinnati and I cried...

  • oh god :(

  • that just makes me cry so much...

  • you cant hide it Paul, its make me cry even more :'(

  • @RobbingMonkeys Go fuck yourself you vile little weasel

  • :c

  • When John died it was like the passing of an era into a real meanness that defined the 80s after that. I think the world cried, when we lost John. I love Paul, George and Ringo too, and it would be equally sad if they had been killed. Paul is the warmest Beatle I've always thought and one half of the best songwriting combo in rock history, don't forget.

  • when he died paul had to get his tears out before paparazzi started askin him 1000000 questions

  • @ladykatemacca Yes, that was probably it. Imagine that your best friend has just been murdered by a psycho and you get a bunch of photographers and reporters asking questions because you're crying about it. Honestly, the world these days....

  • Paul was and is my favorite Beatle and seeing him in such a vulnerable state makes me cry!........Btw John's song is an amazing song and forever he shall live through his music!

  • what is this from? where can anyone see this interview in full?

  • If I were a cynic, I'd say this was set up as some sort of damage control for McCartney's original "it's a drag" comment after Lennon's death. The comment was a huge deal at the time; people thought McCartney was being heartless. Personally, I think he was in shock and wanted the cameras out of his face, but he caught a lot of flack over it.
