He does die in the first fight of the film. I guess it was to give more screen time to Wheeljack, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker, who I heard is the red sports car.

@ShockingZekrom10 i'm kinda hoping too cause in most of the behind the scenes footage accept dc you don't see him filming very much for tf3, in tf2 it was rachet and he didn't have much screen time in tf2, i mean they can get away with not having rachet in the movie very much but ironhide, no way, ironhide has to be in the movie, you have to have optimus, bumblebee and ironhide at least

awesome but like in chicago, once again ironhide is missing, where is he, i hope they don't kill him off or something in tf3 cause i haven't hardly seen him in any of the footage and in tf2 we hardly ever saw rachet in the filming footage and he had very little screen time so i hope they don't do the same thing to ironhide, i can't imagine the autobots without ironhide, anyways, nice footage
