@104dragonman they bought the rights to it, plus they remade a special edition of it!
It's too bad we never got to see Octophantom fight the original Megazord. I would have loved to have seen what that would've looked like.

Wait. The first time, wasn't that the Power Blaster's finisher explosion? Octophantom was destroyed by the Power Blaster, but the footage was cut out, right?

That means is I ever make Octo a Pokemon, he'd have Rock Blast :p

Plausibly it could be the Cranial Laser or something like that. It could also possibly just be the Megazord thrusting it's sword into him.

Does anyone have any idea what the source of the attack was at 00:19? I have a feeling it was a power sword swipe.

Other than the shitty American footage, nothing else is significant about this fight. Not even any power sword footage.

Except one thing: Right before growing, it looks like the Power Blaster was almost undoubtedly used on him.
