Koi Fish Hawaii

im still trying to influence the vid my dad did of this place its like 10 times better cause it was recorder with a high megpixel and the fish are dogpiling on top of each other trying to eat them with their mouths wide open and lined up

This pond is at the Dole Pinapple plantation museum at Oahu Island Outside Honolulu.

The fish goes crazy because all the ppl who wisit there trow fish food there all the time.

The pond is very big but all the fish is crowded there to get food.

Koi fish can be eventually trained to rise to the surface at a specific time or place in the pond. Because you've mentioned that there is a resturant nearby then the fish most likely have been used to scraps of food being tossed from that place so a rush hour in a restuarant would mean rush hour for the fishes too ;)

Well our fishes in our pond were trained by apparently noticing that everytime, before we feed them, we take a small net and remove the leaves from the top of the pond. After a while of that the koi learned to follow the small net and they kept rising to the top. After that we fed them and they went crazy at that one spot we usually feed them at. :) So just daily do some type of noticable thing for your koi to get used to and they'll learn eventually. :)

It's probably not crowded. That looked like a big pond. They're probably all lined-up there for some food. These fish are very aggressive eaters.
