Thanks for all the kind comments. I used the last portion of the closing theme of Star Trek Nemesis, making a few edits so it would exactly fit the TNG credits.
What you heard was the suite from "Star Trek: Nemesis", composed by Jerry Goldsmith and performed by the City of Prauge Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Nic Raine. It was taken from "The Star Trek Album".

Great! I've always prefered Goldsmith's rendition to McCarthy's too, and this works really well.
