  • Wow ur dymb

  • Fantastic information! I learned something from your video. I had no idea about the existence of bio bags. I'm kind of late into getting into being more environmentally responsible, but I'm trying. Thank you for taking the time to post this.

  • When I make a store list I put on the top TAKE BAGS and then I put my car keys on top of the list and bags. Where are you that you get credit for bringing your own bags? I would like to enter this into the community I live in.

  • start thinking different it is not hard

  • Good, more people have to be aware of how easy it is to deal with this.

I'm making a short film that deals with the whole plastic bag issue. It is about what will happen if we don't act on it immediately: the plastic bags will rise up and attack!

Check out the promotional video on my channel.

  • This is a very good Idea Im going to use re- useable bags now thanks.

  • reusable bags are really easy to make too, you can make them out of old tee shirts. there are plenty of tuts around here!

btw, none of the stores around me offer ME money when I bring my reusable bag!!! lame....oh well :)

  • Great ideas Dave - how about reusable sandwich and snack bags when packing your lunch - check out a product called dajobags - you will love them!

  • BioBag products are great! They are truly 100% compostable and 100% biodegradable. Zero plastic, no polyethylene. They are the first biodegradable Mater-Bi (primarily corn starch) bag in the world and hands down the best quality. They are fully certified by BPI (biodegradable products institute) and BNQ (canadian equivalent). They produce Food Waste bags, Tall kitchen, leaf & yard, dog waste bags and cat pan liners. BioBag even produces a line of industrial bags fully compostable!

  • kpeavy1. Maybe you know I am not sure but if that works like regular insulation just make sure your dont create a thermal bridge. Use cardboard baffles instead of the rigid oil based pink foam boards.

  • I save all my plastic bags to use insulating the roof. I stuff several bags into 1, throw it in the attic space. Got the front room done so far, 12x18 ft in 3 years.

  • i use the dogpoop bags for my disposing of my cats poop from the litter. I love going plastic free!

  • it is my understanding that corn based plastics do not degrade in regular landfills. They need to be sent to a commercial composting center.
