If Irving had Love on his team, he would averaged the same if not more assists than Rubio. Rubio is a liability on offense which hinders a PGs effectiveness. Irving being able to score at will opens up his teammates. Irving has 5 straight games of 20+ points. Not too mention the cavs are winning and the Wolves still struggling.

Beasley is alright but he's not that good. The rest of the team is stacked with scrubs that nobody knows about. I've seen both players play and Rubio is WAY better at assisting than Irving. Irving would not average as much assists as Rubio. He's not an offensive liability. He has averaged over 10 points 5 or 6 times so far

How is having 5 games with over 10 assists an offensive liability? Seems like he was getting points on the board whether or not he was the one doing it himself. The ONLY thing Irving has on Rubio is scoring. Rubio's defense, rebounding and assisting skills are better. Your logic: Irving scores more, therefore Irving is better. Nope.

Irving only averages 3 less assists than Rubio because the Cavs need him to score, hence the 5 straight games of 20+ points. Not too mention that the Wolves have more talent the Cavs. Theres a reason why the Cavs are winning and the Wolves arent. Irving also plays 3 less minutes.

First of all: Rubio will not be ROY because he will not see enough playing time to be productive enough every night. I think then it comes to down to a battle between Irving, Cole and - belive me or not- Walker. Irving has the playing time and skills to do so, Cole is the big suprise (and the Heat need a PG) and Walker will establish himself as the leading man for Charlotte (and MJ loves this kid). Irving is my favorit for the Rookie of the Year.
