it may not work with the shadow warrior perk. don't know if they fix that yet.

bethesda have re configured this power, it stays active even if your not crouching and makes you invisible when you crouch, but the timer still goes down when not sneaking :(

hey everyone if you want two powers do the following:

1. get the shadowcloak power

2. activate the power and stand on a diferent powers pedestal

3. wait 24 hours while crouching then walk off the pedestal then back on and you have two poowers and everytime you crouch you will turn invisible

you get 120 secs of invisibility, whenever you sneak you consume the seconds from that 120 secs. so after you activate it you spend just 10 sec in sneak you will still have 110 secs of invisibility. if you attack or stand up the invisibility will break and you have to sneak again.

@kalelman01 actually...i dont know how but i can be stealthed more than 120 sec...something is wrong, i was stealthed 3 minutes and i broke sneak and did it again and i was in stealth again....thats bugged or something...but idc i like being stealthed forever, i got good sneaking + im a vampire so i have + 25% harded to detect and now this...i can spit someone in the eye and he wont notice... xD

Shadowcloak of Nocturnal can last as long as you want, I activated it a long time ago and it works every time I use it. Even though it states for 120 seconds, I have waited while invisible for days. The only time it deactivates is when you attack someone while invisible/sneaking, activate another power, or open a door etc...

it was the nightingale blade. i was using it because of the life steal.

but now i'm using 2 daggers, daggers are best for thieves because they have the faster swing time.

keep the skeleton key instead trust me its better, cos you can get shadow warrior which is exacly the same and it never runs out and always works aso you get both if you keep the key!:)

I'm gonna get lockpicking skills to ~55, and a lot of picks. Then I'm gonna work my way with those picks (should have a lot) to get the "Unbreakable" perk, in which your lock picks never break. Also, I believe you can use the Shadow Cloak whenever you want, so it can be really useful, even when you already have Shadow Warrior. I mean, who would not want an eternal invisible potion??? :)

Then you can buy the spellbook from the college, get ready to spend some through, it's aroud 1k septims.

I'm dumb but I see everyone else asking the same question now. See I activated the spell (PS3) and kept casting left and right hand and it wasn't working. It wasn't until I read the book in the case that said to use the powers it's the same button you press to use your shout. (R2 on PS3).. I guess I would of learned this if I did the main quest instead of all the side & misc. quests first..lol - thx 4 the video.

2 - with the nightingale strife. I have Muffle(illusion) on my left hand, destruction spell in my right hand. It still allows me to activate Strife but I only keep casting muffle and lightning bolts. Maybe it's not supposed to show in your 'hands' and do something to your character just by activating it? As soon as you 'sneaked/snook' you disappeared..I don't.. :( Ideas Please?

Not only is the problem I am having now with the nightingale Powers but also activating the powers I get from the guardian stones - shadow,lady,warrior stone, etc.. that is a known bug, the shadowcloak of nocturnal doesn't work with the shadow warrior skill. you can have only one until they fix it.

when you get the Skeleton Key back to the Twiligt Sepulcher and Nocturnal talks to you, the only way out is to choose a door, each door gives you one of the powers.

I used the power and there seems to be no timer for me....every time i crouch i go invisible again....even when the timer runs out I am still invisible.....is that a bug? the only way i become visible when crouching is when i perform some action after the 120 seconds are over...otherwise i remain invisible and can walk around forever stealthed

The Shadow Cloak of Nocturnal will not work for me. I've favorited it and used the activation button and it makes purple smoke but I never become invisible while sneaking.
