Rayman 2 (PS2) Playthrough - Part 7 - The Lost Island

I own Rayman 1, 2, 3 and RRR + RRR 2, all original games (PC versions). This is the only game I like, but cannot play and it seems much better than the original Rayman 2. Rayman 2 was my first proper PC game, which I got at the age of 8 or 9 ... I even remember crying for the first time while playing this game, it was when I couldn't defeat Axel (?) - the Ice Boss ... :D Now I'm almost 21 years old, but I still love Rayman games and can't wait for the Rayman Origins :)

Hey what's the sound that sound like a clock or someone shutting the door it only plays when you already completed this level and return later for gathering all the lums if you haven't picked them up on the first playthrough though I need to hear this again because it always scared the crap out of me when I was little the sound someone shutting a door really creaped me out so I had to pause the game every time I hear it! I always did think that something would pop out when I hear it :P LOL

@Danger4Life1 Not entirely sure what it does, I'm pretty sure I remember hearing it as well. I think it has something to do with your health, like if you got a group of lums before the ticking/clock sound quit you'd get extra health. That's what I think.

@Danger4Life1 I think it's the sound of the timer; When there's a row of 5 red lums in a row, you must collect them before the timer runs out. (If the timer runs out the lums burst/ explode.)

@Crashgek Well, not exactly ... There was one flamethrower pirate in Rayman 2 ... at the Pirate Prison ship :D but you're right, I find the pirates in this game much more intelligent and varied

4:55 u need the gold shooting power to activate that cannon. It hides 5 yellow lums

so... accomodation gives you power to actualy load your power fist BEFORE you get yellow, then golden one. 3:11 Ray looks like he is doing Kamehame-ha.

I say PS2 version is lot more funnier and has many intresting surprises. Like man with flamethrower instead of drill xD
