i saw the field live a few weeks ago....one of the most interesting, yet entrancing shows i've ever been to. every time i hear this song it just makes me stop and think...a lot.

I LOVE THE FIELD! Please check out my music influenced by Axel Wilner on my youtube channel......HOBBZIFICATION.......you may like the tracks 'A Cut Up Heart'; 'The House of 10CC' & 'Praline Pur'
I really love this video. I think the ambience is terrific and suits the song perfectly, but what I really want to know is whether the video actually is from a film of some kind or that they just made it look like it's a film.
I agree with errvinny. also this track is so simple to the ear and so powerful. reminds me that bass on "the deal" which is my favourite sound on whole album.

Great video! Very moody and atmospheric - just like the track. When Earth is annihilated and there is nothing left, the only remnant of humanity will be the music of the Field, floating through vacuum. Simplicity is the key here - minimalism at its best. I also try to make music under the pseudonym "Acrylic" - I'll never be as good as The Field, but just mesin' around a lil'. Check my vids out whenever u have a spare minute!
to me , it is about how hard it is for people to open up to a loved one when you have been hurt in life... wich most of us are... by society , former lovers or anything else.
in my point of view, the video has no relation with the song, wich is really sublime, it evocates something ligth, and fragile, the video evocate pasions, something gross, fat, low pasion, the film is good, just does not fit with the song. Sorry.
Then what, may I ask, are you doing here? You are more than entitled to not like anything- but to click on a link, watch a video you have no interest in and then post a comment saying how 'this is not music' reeks of narrow mindedness and stupidity.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Actually, darling, I was listening to a song by Brightblack Morning Light that this user had posted. I thought maybe he had some other good songs. I don't appreciate you calling me stupid. I'm taking AP classes at age fifteen...I don't think that deems me stupid. Please get a life. Leave me alone.
Well surely if you are even somewhat intelligent you can appreciate that different people like different things. Music is subjective, perhaps when you grow up you will learn this.
come on now, needing to spam other youtube videos doesn't really constitute 'things to do'. also, saying things like 'honey', 'darling', and 'AP classes at age 15' only serve to prove that as well as being chock full of yourself, you're probably impossible to like in real life. i guess that's why you're spamming youtube though...
nothing short from amazing. simple, eloquent and beautiful. they (now a preforming as a band)are in town today and there is no way in hell im gonna miss that gig!
What in the heck is going on in Sweden? Every act that comes out of there is cutting-edge crazy. I cannot wait to see this year's offerings at Coachella including The Field. The Field will probably play at 2pm and it will be awesome.

"From here we go to sublime" is the album. Really great album and did you knoe he has mixed the hole album live?!?! one of the best albums in 2007 I think... Cheers
perhaps the title is some sort of metaphor (that I am yet to understand), but I have to admit I was expecting a video where one could imagine oneself crossing an enormous glacier under a star-packed sky in the middle of the day
or perhaps I shouldn't take the title so literally
