how do you do the stepovers?

click B on a player to pass it to them and press and hold B before the ball gets to the player, and he will perform a step over :)

No. What happens then is the player recieving the ball lets it go through his legs. That's called a dummy. A stepover is when a player is running with the ball he does a circle round the ball with one leg then does the same immediatley with the other leg. Do you understand what I mean? What you said did work, but it was a different trick.

ahh yeah ok, in that case i think no is the answer... you will sometimes shimmy and do a step over like you suggested under simuated situations when taking a goal tho... but i dont think you can do them manually at any time etc...

hmm fair enough well as with all the pro evo games theres some things that get lost in translation i guess? i cant tell you how to do it but maybe some guides/walkthroughs can?

i guess the best bet would be to just try doing different things in different contexts and experimenting etc, till you work it out, sorry i cant help

Ok to do a drag back move in one direction with a player, holding down the z button, stop moving him so the player faces the other way, then immediatley move the analogue on the other direction the player is facing. The player will keep bringing the ball back with his foot until you let go of the z button.

flick the wii remote to lob the keeper. Another one for you. Oh, here's a tip: if the opposition has possession, flick the wii remote to bring the defence forward and cause opposition to be offside when crossing to a striker.

Here's one you may not know: When the ball arrives at chest height from a long cross, move the analogue in the opposite direction that your player is facing. He will kick the ball over his head, turn around and carry on. Although you can swing the nunchuk when the ball comes over to pull off a pretty spectacular goal.

im sure u know this but ill tell ua anyway, did you know holding Z in offence helps keep the ball when under pressure, and will make a player run to a ball faster...

also clicking A on the ball will make the nearest player recieve it instead of the intended reciever... (assuming the intended is further away anyway)

I have to say to you.This game is a revolutionary step toward the future of gaming. Seem like the Japaneses are way ahead of us. I can see how they see potentials of wii functions and utilize them very well. This game 10/10. Brilliant! I still hope the next version come out on wii will be like this but change the defense system, and make it the connected!.AWESOME brilliant!, if you guys have the wii and love FOOTBALL, this can be the only game you own.

You need to play this to understand how good it is.

It plays great and is easily as good as playing with a normal controler.

you play it like its played its easily the best.most realistic football game about, by far... amazing stuff kicks the crap out of the basic ps/xbox/pc/gamecube versions and fifa games anyway, you get to control the whole team and use team strategies, instead of just 1 player at a time and relying on ai players to do the team strat for you etc
