  • @nunzio5075 thanks

  • Along with the Irish music experiments it'd be great to see Bruce head into Ghazal territory. Check this one out by Ghulam Ali: watch?v=ZUXMlTc-KGs

  • And you can't forget Van Zandt solo which looks like dolphins singing

  • So powerful especially when he starts clapping in his hand with the drums... Gives me chills every time

  • Max Weinberg plays those drums with such power and control, and looks like he just sat down to diner!

  • this version iss so intense

  • The chanting was a huge highlight. It's too bad it never worked for most cities

  • @KleWdSide barcelona is not a random city...

  • @asdasas2305 Never said it was. Maybe if your English was better, you would have known that.

  • @KleWdSide i know what you said, prolly i expressed it in the wrong terms...what i meant is that in spain, especially in barcelona, crowd is always very involved with the artist...even though 95% of them dont understand the lyrics

  • Amazing guitar solo @ 4:48 from little steven van zandt

  • The Yardbirds: Underrated band with three of the greatest guitarists of all time...

The E Street Band: One of the greatest bands of all time with three underrated guitarists...

    Coincidence? Yes.

  • 5:00 that is so kewl. just beautiful, kinda sounds like slash a bit. he duz tht on a gnr song called estranged

  • we can all live together. Embrace each other

  • I think Bruce doesn't have a mother. I think God sent him to bring the light to this god forsaken, dark and gloomy world

  • Heb dit nummer voor de eerste keer gehoord bij een concert van Bruce en de E Street band in rotterdam .

Valt niet te beschrijven wat er toen door me heen ging , wowww .

  • So much strength at 4:12 !! I have chills every time !

  • fuckinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn shit!

  • I couldn't have put it better myself

  • Jesus. When Suzie comes in with the Violin (mid-song), and Bruce starts wailing, and the crowd joins in...makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. So powerful. Then him and Stevie shredding the stage up. Can't say enough about this performance. If you don't have this show on DVD, I suggest getting it. Live in Barcelona.

  • I love this song, and this is the penultimate version of it. To me atleast, it's one of the bands best performances (that I've seen anyways). Epic, EPIC performance. Everyone brought it. Bruce is undeniably THE BOSS!

  • One of the best songs ever.....

  • beautiful.... song....

    croatia

  • The best song.

  • Such charisma... Bruce's music has the potential to shake the ground, break the heart, and rend the soul asunder... truly magnificent, beautiful and spectacular.

  • Bruuuuuuuuce !

  • ein geniales lied. ich frag mich ja nur, warum es dieses (oder andere Lieder aus RISING) es nie ins österreichische Radio schaffen...

  • He is the only singer, the only true legend that can mention muslims in a song and dont have to take any criticism. true legend!

  • In 1974, I first saw a Young Bruce Springsteen. He was humble, talented, grateful to be where he was and determined to "play his ass off and show us a good time" The cover was 1 dollar. I saw him 5 times that year and through 2009, my concert total came to a close at 299. I am older now, as is Bruce, but for me everything that I felt and heard from that first concert, is still the same as I felt at the last time I saw him. There is not "ONE" word to describe this performance. Thank you Bruce.

  • Best song forever!!! Amazing!

  • Live in Barcelona 2003 -- The Greatest Concert DVD ever made!!!

  • "Let's let love give what it gives."-'nuff said folks, yes?

  • One of the best live-songs ever? what do y'all thinK?

  • kiss her bruce

  • that duet with steve is insane

  • the most different sounding Bruce song of his entire collection!

  • Now I'm studying in Barcelona...why don't you come here???? your concerts here were ALWAYS awesomeeeee!!!! please, come back soon BOSS!!

  • "Let's throw the truth away, we'll find it in this kiss"...makes me speechless

  • This is a fucking amazing MASTERPIECEEEEEEE!!!!

  • This is such an amazingly touching song from The Rising, somewhat over shadowed as there are so many outstanding songs on what was such a meaningful and brilliant album!

  • "Sometimes the truth just ain't enough

Or it's too much in times like this"

That's a phrase only a really talented songwritter/poet could write. So beautiful...

  • A hugely underrated Bruce's song....it has everything: deep lyrics, beautiful and evocative melodies, power, guitar solos, and chorus in a psychedelic way that Bruce had never tried before.

The chorus reminds me of the chorus in "A day in the life" by Beatles...i just love this song cause it's so psychedelic and uncommon in bruce songwriting...really beautiful :)

The final solo by Bruce and Steve is sooo awesome!

  • "'Neath Allah's blessed rain, we remain worlds apart"

Love that lyric. In an album that's fittingly patriotic and American, it's great to have a sympathetic song to the difference in races.

    THE BOSS...

'Nuff said. No one can write like that.

  • I'm falling in love of this song!!!

  • The great Nils Lofgren on banjo everyone.

  • love the name

  • Amazing song from an amazing artist! Definitely among the top 5 songs from The Boss. Play it loud and let the adrenaline rush!! I love it!!

  • A 4 year relationship ended for me back in 2002 just as this song came out. It was the song for the moment.

  • This blows me away everytime I hear it.

  • amazing... I'm listening some many songs through my life and still coming back to these one... thanks BOOS!

  • This song is awesome. It simply contains every necessary element... ingenious music, great lyrics... brilliant voice... deep meaning... I just love it

  • the begining of this BLEW ME AWAY!!!!

I loved the banjo fiddle and accordian put together

  • this just blew my wig back GOD DAMN !

  • So different than the rest.. Beautiful song!

  • Simplesmente espectacular, enão há dúvidas o BOSS é o BOSS
