He said the joke was meant for the older daughter and that if he had known it was the younger one at the game, he wouldn't have made the joke.
The joke about the older girl was perfectly valid, because the older daughter got pregnant while underage.
The joke was still "valid" about the younger one, just icky, and he owned up to that and apologized.
The girls are not off limits while the parents prop them up.
