call of duty and company of heroes aside, all these war games and movies make it seem as though britain and the commonwealth weren't involved in WW2, even though they were the only one of the Allied powers to keep a strong military opposition to germany, japan, and italy in the war from start to finish, had the most effective troops in ww2 on the allied side, devised the entire plan for d-day, and took the hard job of always attacking the most heavily defended areas throughout ww2.

i agree with B0ulevradz, the ww2 generation was known as the generation that saved the world, and they were. troops over seas fighting for whats right, and people at home commting to the war effort. the normandy invasion was a key achievement for the allies, if u think about it, it started the down fall of Germany.

However, the Amis sent 11 millions of soldiers to the front everywhere in the world. They won the Pacific war alone, they supported the Allies before fighting themselves in Africa, Italy, France and finaly Germany. Of course, the first thing they show is Normandy as always. Goddamn it, get over it. I'm sick and tired of everyone thinking that that was the turning point, or the crucial battle of WW2. Same thing with the Battle of Britain!!!! Study your history people! I realize perfectly the magnitude of these battles, but taken into account the time of them, an in comparison to some of the others, they don't deserve to be on the cover/1st on the trailer.
