And to any of the people that are being nasty and saying that she's too big, mini's need a proper exercize, just like any other horse or pony, do you expect 6 and 7 year olds to jump and gallop them?

Very so VERY rare a child of that age would be able to do that.

one time i got on a mini that was ridin maby twice in its life. so all i had was a snaffle in her mouth. she took off as fast as she could go with me on her. i stayed on but i could control her. she ran into a place and got cornered it was so funny that pony was proly the fasstest mini ever. she was out running some of my friends horses. with someone on her!!!!!!!

I have seen much smaller horses being ridden by much bigger people, as long as it was just the once than it is okay =) He wasn't struggling so I am sure he was fine for just the one time

cute! It really doesn't hurt for someone to ride a mini if their too big. As long as they don't weight like 300 lbs then the horse will be fine. Ponies such as the mini and the shetland have strong,sturdy legs, allowing them to support heavy weights. They are tough little guys :D

Your mini is adorable! I have one and shes only 1 but when she turns 3 im going to ride.(I think that shes not too big just for that one ride because he doesnt look stressed and minis are very sturdy) Anyway luv your mini!

i agree with you, my brother and sister are getting 2 mini's and I have to get on them before my little 7 year old cousin's (theyre future cowboys lol) can start training them, just to make sure they won't try anything dangerous.
