@ckrm55 i'm reading it too and i knew that name from somewhere... the most stupid thing about the book is that in SATC carrie just DOESN'T cook, i even remember an episode when she tries to cook for big and it turns out a out mess, and in the book she cooks a whole meal with lamb or whatever and chocolate soufles for samantha? thats just stupid!it makes me think that the person who wrote the book never saw the series i like miranda characters though,i think it's similar to the series
so, i've been reading summer and the city, by CB.
and capote duncan gets brought up a lot.
he apparently knows carrie from writing school when carrie first comes to NY.
i was trying to find out how i know him so this helped tons.
but its very odd how its written.
when reading books....take everything you know from the show out.
its WAY different.

@jackieLeopard
yeah but in the actual first sex and the city book its similar, my big sock was that Samantha was going to get married!
i find Candace Bushnell changed it so much to appeal to younger crowd.
its very teen based i wouldn't consider either one that great, but teen novels are selling most right now.
but yes i agree Carrie even states in the movie that she keeps sweaters in her stove. :D
