@TrashKid63 And, DuraPack is technically the name of the body only. The F7000 refers to the arm design. That's why you can have a DuraPack Python, DuraPack Rapid Rail, or DuraPack Formula 7000.
this week i will get the Heil and the autoreach from orange county we got a lot of old trucks from orange county and some of those old Amrep ASL with the engin that powers the are and packer like in WMDUDE videos
Yeah this lid flipping 7000 all by itself would've made it worth it to revisit Torrance again haha, very entertaining driver. Always love that jolt when trucks use neutral and then switch back out of it to drive on :D Awesome post!
That lid flip at the start got my attention straight away, awesome little flick... looks like another of those arms which just "drops" the bins onto the ground! haha You can really see the truck pull when 1st gear connects to the engine - I wonder what it would be like driving an ASL with a manual transmission?! Sweet footage, nice quick and loud action with this truck! Do you know what the deal is with that hissing?
@MitchellM15 Yea he revved the arm down at the first stop which is why it went so fast. I believe these trucks have Allison transmissions, there automatic but have a button or switch that puts it in neutral for the stops then back into gear. most trucks dont jump out like that but if you have it set to drive both rear axles and you floor it like that it jolts the trucks where as one drive axle alone wont make it jolt. Not sure why but thats what a driver told me then demonstrated later that day
Wow great looking and sounding truck! Loved the lid flips. I like how first it looked like he wasn't going to flip those lids but came down and slapped those things around. Ahhh great footage!
Great work! He is certainly the fastest! Considering he flips lids and no one else does. lol I like how the grippers are yellow. This is why I watch ASL vids. To see what and ASL can do! Again, Nice job!
the 7000 is 10x better than the python!

@TrashKid63 I know. I like the Formula name more than Durapack which is why I use it

@TrashKid63 this is a Durapack body with a Formula7000 arm on it thats why we call it a Formual7000 or F7000

Yikes that is one mighty fine large truck. And those are my fav type of Toter too! Great job! When are greens and recycle done here?
legodude24652 7 months ago
@legodude24652 everything is dont the same day but few other trucks flip lids. Some areas of the city dont have greenwaste and some do, not sure why.

Nice footage! I need to get out there to finally see a F7000. And interesting how the arm kinda throws the carts down.
