I think the 'really' amazing thing about Mr. Lang is that such a 'young' man (I'm a 60 yr. Blues-singer) could write such clever, and soulful 'lyrics'! Wow....Still love this kid. One reason I think we don't hear more from him is that "Blues Bro.s 2000" movie; that 'close-ups' they did in there that shows Jonny singing is...vile, hideous even, looks like he's trying to 'puke' up his tongue & everything inside of him...yuk!!!
Agreed! Totally talented dude... been followin him since his first album... and yeah... to me... the greatest blues guitarist of this era... you can just feel it on evry note... and that's what the blues is all about!! Play on Jonny!!
Jonny Lang has real soul and he probably doesn't take any bullshit from music producers and/or Hollywood publicists who would want to own him or his voice. He's smart. I think Jonny Lang values his life and incredible artistic expression more then musicians who sell out. Also, I agree with @lynnprice7, most listeners buy and like whatever is marketed....(often never considering the soul of a real artist - Louis Armstrong just to name another).

@lynnprice7 we 'do hear about him', but you're right, we hear a lot more, unfortunately about 'stars' with absolutely NO talent!------He does quite a lot of 'live' shows...saw him less than a year ago performing a commemoration for Jimi Hendrix...He's AMAZING

Extremely underrated musician.. I could listen to him all day..in fact, I do often :)
