Buckeye fan here. I think the magic number for both teams is 24 - the first to 24+ wins the game. If Ohio State gets to 24 first that means they are running the ball and controlling the clock. If Oregon gets to 24 first, that means they are scoring fast, and The Buckeyes arnt going to win a track meet. Interesting contrast in styles.
There will be so much being put on the field, both teams have alot of talent. But, it's going to be very interesting how these teams match up, b/c of the versatility both teams have.
My final prediction....tOSU is going to control the line on both sides...the o line is too big and physical for oregons d..oregons d will show up at first and the buckeyes run game will start off slow but the line will eventually overpower oregons d line and the running game will open up...buckeyes d line will be too powerful and fast for oregons o line and their penetration will slow down the productive running offense...the final 31-24 Buckeyes

Our coach won a NATIONAL TITLE in his second year here... know what one of those is? And two other times when Ohio State was guaranteed a Rose Bowl trip we played for the national title instead while Oregon played in the North Dakota Corn Starch Bowl.

The Bucks didn't "destroy" us. We only lost because Blount fumbled. Your defense wasn't nearly as good as you guys claimed it would be. Also the ducks were way to small because Pryor put them on the green grasses of the rose bowl all day, They couldnt stop Pryor and to be honest the ducks players were saying they could control Pryor and stop the bucks but they couldnt, to be blunt with you duck fans the reason bucks fans are cocky now is because your players, coaches, and fans thought you couldnt be stopped, now just man up and give credit were credit is due.

Buckeye fan here. I think the magic number for both teams is 24 - the first to 24+ wins the game. If Ohio State gets to 24 first that means they are running the ball and controlling the clock. My final prediction....tOSU is going to control the line on both sides...the o line is too big and physical for oregons d..oregons d will show up at first and the buckeyes run game will start off slow but the line will eventually overpower oregons d line and the running game will open up...buckeyes d line will be too powerful and fast for oregons o line and their penetration will slow down the productive running offense...the final 31-24 Buckeyes

In ALL FOUR games, the ducks put up 180 yards rushing or MORE. So Buck fans, alot of people thought they could shut Oregon down, but couldn't. Defenses were top ranked PRIOR to playing Oregon and then we took them apart after everybody was questioning wether or not Oregon could run on those tough defenses..... Same thing will happen to OSU who has yet to play a good offense. Good job holding potent offenses to such low point totals lol (Penn St. is the best O you guys faced and they have the 47th ranked O overall lol)and btw im a Utah fan because my dad went there so im hoping that they win and then the Pac-10 can go and win the rest

come on man cal scored 30 and oregon state scored 42 on usc's "great" d before they played oregon, asu got 33 points score on them by stanford before they played oregon...i mean yeah your offense is great but so is our d...like rastastoned420 said its going to be hard, ohio state is always good at defense especially against the run i think this game is going to be great and come down to the wire..do not expect a blow out..good luck
