@Hanslijosephine I think its your choice,if you want a golden retriever,then get a golden retriever.if you want a border collie then get it.Its really your choice....They are both loyal,and beautiful dogs!If i were be you i would pick a border collie...BUT my mom would NEVER let me have one they are to big she says that all the time.That was my opinion,YOU picked 2 wonderful dogs!!!YOU are so lucky that you can get big dogs!!!

border collie video made me very happy!! mine was great with my kids but not so great with the neighbors kids. didnt like other boys around my daughter. like he was protecting her. he would bit if he cud have. you really got to be careful and train dogs. teach this breed biting is not ok. they are very sensetive and extremely smart. have a distinct 6th sense. very protective with kids or the flock they guard

Yes they are good with kids.They actually love being around them.Your kids will be tired in a short amount of time wit that bundle of energy puppy.

border collies are known to nip children :P but i'm sure it wont be a problem as long as yur kids dont run from the border cus then its gunna chase yur kids XP

They may try to herd your children which you should correct your border collie and the children may run away which is incorrect. they must correct the dog and have the dog vent these herding skills into something else like frisbee..

yes, border collies are very friendliy, trust me, watch my videos, I had around the 30 border collie pups in my house. you can learn them very much.. trust me, they are really nice dogs and they don't hurt and bite your cat or kittens

Now, Julieta is almost 2 years old and my cat is still alive. They grew up together and they love each other. My cat was 5 months old when Julieta arrived at home; she was afraid at first, but you can see how they play...
