  • @Louiepe Obviously you can.

  • I can't be bothered arguing with you.

  • @Louiepe In reply to your comment, “@chriswaskew89 Perhaps you shoudl watch your own video where you consistently refer to changing a 'tyre'. Also read a dictionary with respect to your spelling 'correction'. Tyre:a thick rubber ring that fits around the edge of a wheel of a car, bicycle, etc”, which you removed I would like make some comments.

  • @Louiepe

First: Should is not spelled “shoudl” but I’m sure that was an honest typo.

  • @Louiepe

Second: In reference to me consistently referring to changing the tire I only specifically say that at the very end of the 10-minute long video by mistake. Also I do say tire several times because you have to remove part of the tire from the wheel to remove the tube. At the very beginning I say, “Today we’re going to look at changing the flat…changing the tube on a bicycle tire.” You obviously missed that because we would not be having this discussion if you had noticed.

  • @Louiepe

Third: I will accept your spelling of tire, which is tyre only because in my dictionary it states the definition as being: “tyre chiefly Brit var of TIRE”.

The definition of tire is: “a ring or band of rubber, either solid or hollow and inflated, or of metal, placed over the rim of a wheel to provide traction, resistance to wear, or other desirable properties.”

I do apologize for not knowing your spelling of the word.

  • That's how you change an inner tube, not a bicycle tyre.

  • Nice video Chris - going for 1st cycle on Saturday and was worried about changing tube if needed! At least I will have some idea now! Thanks!

  • @mrtaboocobra how are you going to spend 700+ on wheels when you dont even know what size tube to buy?
