@c0rse only if you live in Seoul....but you are still forced to learn enough to get around especially where I live. I live 3 hours from Seoul by bus and I need to know enough to order food and take a taxi etc. Many people do live here for a year and only know "hi"....now I understand how to count money and it's nice not having them write it down or having to depend on a screen to understand what I'm paying for.
@charlycheer Yeah I heard a lot that English teachers stay for a year and go back home without knowing more than days of the week or numbers, thanks for the input and fast reply
