I'm so happy I don't smoke anymore. Stopped January 9, 1990 and it will be 20 years soon.

I'm glad I don't look like them anymore, I limp a bit because I'm 65 but at least I don't smoke anymore.

It would be interesting to know if anyone has ever gotten fined for cigarette butt tossing. That would be the only thing that would stop it.

They are disrespectful slobs. I don't smoke and no one in my home smokes but I find butts out in front of my house from slobs flinging them out the windows of their cars. I wish I'd catch someone doing it. I'd collect them and dump them on THEIR lawn. Why don't they use the ashtray?

They're simply too lazy and totally unconcerned about their actions to use an ash tray. I'm sure if you were to approach most butt tossers and confront them about their actions they'd tell you to mind your own business (or worse). Telling them that litter *is* everyone's business would have no effect.

It must be a combination of YouTube and me both not liking W's. It's of course George Bush's middle inititial and some people refer to him as Dubya... reason enough not to like W's. And throw too may W's in a row in a comment and YouTube thinks you're trying to pimp a website.

Yep pretty much:) Good creative type ideas that I'm actually capable of pulling off are sometimes hard to come by. (I sometimes think of things which would be interesting to do but I can't quite get the special effects right) So actually I regard vids like this to be the filler that prevents me from going a month at a time without a vid.

Yeah, it's pretty disgusting the way people treat the planet. I saw on one of the related videos that in NY's Times Square they pick up 90 something pounds of cigarette butts every single day.

Hmmmm...I sure hate seeing that! I'm a smoker, but not a "butt tosser"! I wonder if they are aware of the issues from doing that?? They must not, or they wouldn't do it...well, I hoping anyway! :-)

I think they'd probably do it anyway. Actually I wasn't aware of the problems from wildlife eating the butts until I watched some of the related vids. I figured it was mainly a littler problem but they take about 12 years to degrade and wind up in streams and oceans.

I use to smoke and what I think is bad is when smokers finish there smokes at a bus stop take the last drag, get on the bus then blow it out. all over the nice bus driver and the other passengers. yuck. other then the cig toss what about the smokes who hog the enterence to stores and when people walk in to the store they have to inhail all the crap they just blew out. aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggg­ghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I used to experience the same thing when I took the bus before I retired. Smokers want to get the very last bit of smoke they can before throwing their butt away. And then they would stink when they got close to you. Now I hate to sit beside someone who smokes, they really smell bad.

Happy I don't smoke anymore. Now I have to fight with food compensation, but that's another story, at least I don't smoke anymore. I was sure I would die with a cig in my hand. I was the nervous kind of smoker...

I've always known cigarette butts were a pretty bad littler problem, but I really didn't know how much until I posted this video and then started looking at some of th related videos that showed up. The butts wind up getting washed into streams and the ocean and causing all sorts of problems for the wildlife which eats them.
