I have built numerous turbo cars, you will not build boost like that half throttle. Not to mention half throttle won't shift at 6k RPM. Your truck is quick you don't have to lie about it to make it seem quicker than it is. What a poser.
All you people that are saying it isn't half gassed are on crack, if it was anything more than half gassed he would have lit the shit out of the tires, and if he had have pinned it, the rpm would have shot up to at least 3 grand right away, not slowly go up, and to the dumb ass that said you don't go to 6 grand, its a fucking turbo motor, he's obviously going to have the shift point set high cause thats where that motor is making all of its power.

And yes it was half gassed. It does have a new transmission and TCI computer for it, so it's not your everyday chevy transmission with a stock computer, it's a 4L80e built up with a new brain basically. So if you drive a chevy with a stock transmission, you know nothing about this truck.

0-80 in 8 seconds..you dumbass..thats up there in vette territiory. If a stock corvette does 0-100mph in 10.5 seconds. Then its 0-80 has to be somewhere between 4.5-10.5...so 0-80 seems to be pretty close to the mean of those two numbers. You also have to factor in the aerodynamics slowing the car down for the intitial first 60mph.
