  • THIS IS TIGHT!.

  • well.i didn't go in depth for this tutorial.quick and easy for everyone to follow.don't like it,don't watch it :)

  • what? really? that's not a vintage effect. all you did was exclude blue and yellow. there's a bit more to it than that, like reducing saturation, adding noise, gaussian blur etc. etc. etc.

  • thank you so much!!

  • omg thanks so much!

  • When you're done with her instructions, go to Levels, select Blue, and move the white arrow down a bit, and the grey arrow up a bit. It makes the 'real' vintage effect that you are looking for.

  • thank you soo much

  • WHOOOOOOOOOOOO

    i did it :) x

  • this is great! i found the picture turned out a bit too blue but i realised i was using the wrong shade. but i found it was still too blue so i just changed the opacity on the layers that i filled and it looked better :) im guessing it is different for all photos

thanks for the great tutorial :D

nice and simple and basic :)

  • Thanks ^^

  • am using photoshop CS3

and i can not find my

    bucket fill tool ?

  • on your side bar there should be a tool called "gradient" or something and then you just right click it and select bucketfill tool.:]

  • I had the same prob.

so alls i did was used my brush and made it huge and colored it in :D

  • thanks! :)

  • Wow. Easy and fast!

    Thanks <3

    xxx.

  • reallly koool :]

  • SUPER HELP! This is quite the best (and easiest!) way to vintage photos! Thanks!

  • You could also just apply a photofilter...?

  • There are several ways you could do it. This is the very most basic way of doing it--great for beginners, but it doesn't leave you a lot of room for creative control, while using Curves would help a lot with that.

  • you are sooo awsome thnx

    this helps soo much

  • help!!

    it doesn't work

I did every thing the way you did.

But mine turned out way to blue.

I have no idea what i did wrong.

    please help.

  • If it's too blue, just change the layer opacity. This effect will look different for different photos?

  • thank you so much. :)
