The problem with the game is setting the goalie to auto in the options setting. You can't control the goalie until he takes the ball in that setting- and the computer is mercilessly efficient under normal play, making a very boring game between humans. It's VERY easy to fake out though by running vertically in front of the goal to pull the goalie out to take the ball and then shooting it angled toward the goal. The CPU goalie will nearly always dive and miss when done right.
