You can't always see or smell that something has gone bad at the cellular level and the dangers of not having preservatives in vaccines (and other medicines for that matter) is clear in the medical history. Thimerosal remains in adult vaccines (though all but one are available Th. Free). This is all tangential to the point which is that preservatives are necessary and of those used, thimerosal has been more extensively studied in vaccine use.

Blogs lead to information that is a corroboration of what you are trying to prove or disprove. Blogs related to a subject may be slanted, but they can also have links to sites that are research or data centric, so yes, blogs are yet another source of research data.

These people are not checking their sources, and the blogs are decidedly not research DATA. The blogs may have links to legit sources of data, but usually not. They read quote mines that appear on every one of these blogs, all of them coming from the same spot. Then they tend to spam them, or if they put it in their own words, make fundamental errors that display the lack of understanding that reveals their lack of sourcing. Very few people on the science side spam quotes from blogs.

@JessicaTatz as a person who reads blogs and has blogged..blogs are not usually research. Again, that is not "absolute"...Though more than "usual" if you work in research, you publish. Not blog about it. As a person who is in school I take value that if you don't know what you are talking about. Don't teach it. That's an opinion I have concerning learning and then re-teaching information. Bloggers who take popular science and put their spin on it aren't actually scientists/know what their doing.

My daughter is 15 months old. I have not vaccinated her. I did research when I got pregnant with her. And based on that research, I've decided not to vaccinate. I believe, even though it may not be popular, that I would be putting my child in danger by contaminating her blood with all the "preservants" they put in vaccines. It's a hard choice, being that it is sometimes seen as radical. However, it becomes easy when I see my healthy daughter.

Vaccines don't cause autism. The evidence is unequivocal. Those who want to THINK again, do so by researching medical evidence, at either Medline, PubMed or the Cochrane Library. The original study that suggested a link between MMR and autism had 12 children in it. Follow up studies have included as many as 1.8 million. That this myth hasn't died is ridiculous.

This is a great program. I love the questions and logic used. I will be looking up studies for some time trying to catch up with this program. It's said that if you say something 64,000 times it becomes excepted, weather true or not. Vaccines have become a 'sacred cow' and are no longer questioned, even among the intelligent. I support Koren's work because it might cause us to THINK again.

There is no proof that strapping a mobile phone to your head for 1 month causes cancer, but rare cancers in the young has gone up since the introduction of quite a few modern day things. There will be lots of money for scientists to prove no link to cancer - funded by the mobile phone companies. I dont like coincidences and I wouldnt strap a mobile to my head. Its not that simple buddy. Experiments done in different ways with different criteria get different results. A W was not happy with the criteria used to dissprove.. There is a lot more funding provided to so called popular research than unpopular. Andrew Wakefield should have been given the funding himself. He was afterall a prize winning scientist before this. Instead they tried to discredit him for recieving payments from a Solicitor. Well isnt that what every scientist recieves - funding?
