  • What the hell ever happened to these guys, they just seemed to drop off the map in the peak of their fame.

  • NON-FICTION reunion show is on the new HADES DVD under MERCH on Dan's website

  • Awesome band live in day. They were a neck wrecking show.

  • Hades is playing Dingbatz also next month? Oh very cool, will def be there!

  • LOVED Non-Fiction...saw them as well as Hades & Watchtower quite a few times back in the day @ L'amour in Bklyn... Alan also played w/ Seven Witches for 2 albums...they did a Non-Fiction reunion @ Dingbatz a couple of years ago which was awesome :)

  • HADES play Dingbatz again-March 26th 2011 ONLY US show booked

  • Alan Tecchio, the singer, was in a few bands. The ones I knew about were Hades and Watchtower (on their last album, "Control and Resistance"). The librariusmetallicus website lists some other bands as well.

  • i saw this on the headbangers ball a few weeks back, and it was still an amazing song. anyone know what happened to these guys? they didn't get the respect they deserved. Today, they'd be a huge band. Was the lead singer ever in any other bands? A voice like that is too good to be wasted...

thanx for uploading this video, i wish more metal was like this!!!

  • These guys are amazing. Havent heard this song in a long time. I agree they never got the respect they deserved.

  • Wow its been years since I heard of this band. Great band and wasn't promoted enough. They were on a constantly played on WSOU. Big local band

  • Alan tecchio is one of the best melodic metal singers around.I will be there to see him nov 7. Immortalmike

  • hades the band they use to be is way better than this.

  • (Cont) For you to publicly bash people YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT personally, just because you had a bad experience (although I am positive Kevin is duly justified, whatever that might have been in your mind) makes you one hell of a stand up barnyard chicken for sure and now the people on here can see your true colors as if they don't already know, people aren't blind as you may think.

  • Kevin or Lainey are never or have never been full of themselves, a pair of more down to earth people you won't find anywhere. You obviously have no conception of what "good friends and people" are and by the looks of things you never will either if you go through life with that attitude. (Cont)

  • HOT HOT HOT!!!!! Who is that BASS PLAYER!!!! HE is TALENT and SEXY all in one tastey sandgwich!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this band and this video!!!! ROCK ON!!!!

  • I appreciate your feedback, deary...but from the heart...the man was advertising for bass lessons and acted as though he didn't have time for me. "it's too much..." I remember him saying after awhile. Hey, I'm just calling the situation as I experienced it. No disrespect. He was sharing that house w/ somebody and he had those two big dogs, ask him if he remembers?

I mean no disrespect. Yeah,... he was a tad full of himself.

    Peace.

  • To Mite0m...how is it possible that Kevin "didn't have time for you" when he was taking time out of his very busy schedule to give you a lesson? Maybe you were not a very good student. If he didn't take you on, then you could say that he "didn't have time for you." But he did indeed make time for you, and now you're complaining about him 15 yr later! Maybe you really suck and wasted his time..ever think of that? Point is, spread positivity..don't cry like a little girl with a skinned knee

  • take it easy sister, once again I was only commenting on an experience I had with this guy and was not very positive. I meant no disrespect.Ah, yeah, as a "teacher" who wants to "teach" he sucked. Come to think of it...as talented as he is, he should learn to be more humble. Not cryin' about anything, but apparently you are. You posted me, deary. The guy was a straight up asshole, and the album he gave me wasn't getting me moving. This is an opinion of my experience with him. Take it easy, sista

  • Puh-lease! You take it easy..and I'm not your sister. Using the comments here to call my boyfriend a "full of himself, asshole prick who needs to learn to be more humble" is rather disrespectful..and immature...and pointless and irrelevant to the video, no less. You're a silly little boy who can't play bass. We're all so very sorry for you. "Now go away, or I shall taunt you a second time!" - thank you, Monty Python

  • well I can see you are just as full of yourself as your live -in boyfriend.

If you are gonna be a "teacher". A Teach-er, a teacher, ma'am...then part of being a teacher, missy, is "patience". Need me to repeat?

The guy was a full of himself, goofy, weirdo, and I had a bad experience with him...nothing more, nothing less.

I apologize if I've offended you, but not him.

Great cover of "wish you were here"...now please, mamma..let me get on with my life.

    Peace

  • Non-Fiction reunion Sat. Nov 7th 2009 Dingbatz Clifton NJ

  • I booked and Interviewed these fuckers in Detroit at The Marquee Club... One of the best, yet practically unknown bands I have ever seen. Played in front of 12 people, but put on a great fucking show. I need to find that album, great show... Maybe I should upload that entire concert I have on VHS... Hey Alan, contact me you skinny prick...

  • Upload it dude- love to see it.

    Check out Autumn Hour.

  • Meh

  • Yeah, AiC got popular, but NF certainly had just as much talent....NY/NJ metal was dying by the 90's. Oh, well.

  • fuck yea

  • Non-Fiction had 2 releases that I know about, Preface in '91 and In the Know in '92. Bath very good "CD's" In the Know a little more refined than Preface but both good albums!

  • There is another record called "It's a Wonderful Lie" It is really good also. I would suggest it to anyone.

  • Great stuff. They never did get the recognition they deserved. they were ahead of their time....

  • I agree! I saw them in Germany, they were good, bought their cd's listened some more, Like 'Em alot! Their contract wasn't renewed, too bad.

  • Drummer Mike and guitarist Dan released "Room Full of Sinners" cd with Blitz from Overkill singing low. The band is called THE CURSED....sounds sorta like Non-Fiction

  • Cool, reminds me of driving around Rt.18 with this tape blasting. Good times...

  • very nice. but i want some old hades stuff!!!!!!!!

  • Great vid!!

  • superb!

  • great metal band of my childhood

  • Mike and Dan are in a band with Blitz from Overkill, called the Cursed. Alan and Kevin are in a band called Seven Witches. All great guys.
