I want to add that I don't think that Ben Daglish actually realized what amazing eternal tune he composed back then. This tune is like a tsunami out of nowhere. The bassline is so brutal and dry. I have never heard anything even close to this. You can pretty much compare it To Axel F from Faltermayr, only that this is not known to most. I am 100% sure that some day this will be ALL over the charts in the whole world as a remix. I am absolutely sure.

So you're saying that a good Chiptune song might take the same time span to make as a well composed DM song? Fair enough, it's all so subjective, so I won't argue about that. What I do think is that DM take more raw talent than Chiptune. If you've truly played in a DM band, than you should realize how much more difficult it is to encompass and capture something that sounds remotely decent.

Everything about DM is so intricate, including the guitar riffs and solos, the drumming paterns, the growled vocals, and the hardest aspect to master; speed.

I think you will find that Razor1911 are as old as the scene goes...

They are the oldest crackers on the internet, they used to privide the means to play free games on some of the earliest consoles. Dubmood himself is a member, and a recognised contributor to the scene.

Wether you agree with software piracy or not - you cant take away the fact that they rock :p

you must understand that back in those days, you just had to have the equipment to literally jump (JMP) over the false password piece of code. Anyway, trust me. Simple. That's why in old games you still have password input, but wrong try works (ie they didn't even bother to jump over / remove the input, just bypass its verification)
