LIARS al LIARS Canadians who Vacation in Marco Island FLordia saythey would trade their health care for USA health care .These are rich Canadians .They LOVE it they said !
'the free market doesn't work" we still don't have a free market! its still a mixed economy! look at Britten, and Canada. people are getting screwed. however its hard to find one that is willing talk about it, because they love the ideology of socialism. they are as fanatical s religionists. when the money runs out, RUN! read history!
Notice how, as China becomes MORE free-market oriented their economy does better?
Notice how the free-market countries in the world, or at least the ones with a more free-market leaning are uniformly better off then the other countries?
Have also been trying to get on a lung transplant list since December of 2003. Lots of red-tape in the Canadian system, sigh, have been receiving the medical run around since childhood. Thanks for your video.
Just to add, I have a pre-existing lung disease, bronchiectasis and have had lung problems since childhood, so my lungs really should not wait for treatment. I'm at risk for respiratory failure and have gone into respiratory failure before and to think I was made to wait for this treatment is so frustrating.
I'm Canadian and had to wait from June 20th until July 3rd from results from a chest x-ray. The x-rays showed pneumonia, and I've been getting sicker and sicker waiting - running high fevers, having chills, increased shortness of breath. despite having a left lower lobe pneumonia. It was not until yesterday that I learned of the pneumonia and finally received some IV medication today. I agree the Canadian healthcare system has problems.
I'm an economist. I can attest that socialized medicine is quite deleterious to the economy. it constitutes part of government spending found in a nation's GDP thus shifting the aggregate supply curve further left than it should, due to the deadweight loss in the private sector for medicine. Concurrently, a shift in the aggregate demand curve would necessitate a shift to the right, thus causing increased price levels and a scarcity of output. It's quite the binary phenomenon.
The current system is broken. What does that have to say about your free-market? Can't wait to have free-market police, fire-fighters, and defense. How would you fix the system?
Thank God these wonderful people took the time to counter Mr. Sicko himself who continues to spew forth his liberal agenda to socialize medicine (and everything else he can get his filthy hands on)! He is not even a citizen of our great Country and needs to be shipped (by HEAVY FREIGHT) back home! Keep up the work fellow patriots!
Exactly...about 45 percent of all health care dollars spent in the US are spent by the government. That is NOT a free market system. Add to that the heavy regulation and you begin to understand why it is so expensive...but still much better than a totally government run system.
Lol, Castro sounds like Tommy Wisseau.
Anyways, the best way to fix health care is to remove patents, subsidies, occupational licensing and the FDA.
The "so sick of socialism" sign pissed me off, though... state socialism and socialism aren't the same.

Health insurance is no different than car insurance. If it is privatized, it is better.

For instance:
USA vs. China
Israel vs. Syria
UK vs. Cuba
yadda yadda yadda

I'd have to agree, it seems like every socialist that I talk to bashes the "free market" since they think we actually have one.

No kidding. If it were, it'd be even less expensive and of higher quality.
