Really great vid! I love hearing that classic flap sound. I flew a lot on 500s when USAir had them. Really awesome.

wow that was probably the quickest Taxi to the gate I've ever seen after landing... No wait scratch that. I saw a video of Bob Hope (Burbank) Airport and right off the turn from the runway was the gate.

This is the first video I've seen filmed from inside a -500. Those birds are quite noisy, in my opinion.

They're not that nosy and they even quiet but he the reason for the noise is that he is sitting right above the back of the engine.

This particular bird may have had the engines worked on since it *is* quiet. Other than that, the -500s are dreadfully louder at idle than a -300 taxiing by, even with hearing protection on.

At 15 July ill fly on a -524 which is sort of a -500, Ill see how loud it is.

I wont have internet access for a month.
