The Family Circus is rather insufferable in a one-panel comic. I can't imagine putting up with them for a whole half hour.
A bunch of kids rescue their dads from prison in North Korea? I think we can safely say that film comes from Fantasyland, though it was good that James Cromwell was able to find work before Babe.
Mickey was kind of a jerk back in the Steamboat Willie days.
The Gnome-Mobile reunited the kids from Mary Poppins. It didn't do anywhere near that film's business.
@MeInTX "A Family Circus Christmas" is a bizarre slice of 70's weirdness, essentially about the delusions of a child who asks Santa to "bring grandad down from heaven" (A phrase that is repeated about thirty times). AFAIK it's the only Christmas special where Santa brings back the dead, so it's worth checking out just for that aspect.
@80sCommercialVault Wow...you weren't kidding. That goes right up there with some of the more out-there Rankin-Bass holiday specials as shows best enjoyed while inhaling the smoke from a pot Yule log.
I think showing promos like this just proves that there is something to be said for channels that don't have a lot of money and are forced to come up with lots of appealing content from wherever they can get it. If it weren't for "classic" disney channel, I wouldn't love old movies as much as I do now.
frankasu03 uploaded a video with this eyecatch last year, and it's in HQ (but the audio is out of sync). However, It's good to know you uploaded a video with this eyecatch as well. Maybe, when I have kids of my own, I'll make MM-shapped pancakes for them.
I always wanted to go to the major theme parks around Christmas. I did go to Universal Studios after Christmas while the decorations were still up, but it wasn't the same
that little boy looked kinda freaked out when Roger Rabbit had a grip on him

Most of the eyecatches have absolutely wonderful quality, good job!
How did you get them at such high quality?

I miss Roger Rabbit. Aside from the Toontown ride at Disneyland, he's completely disappeared.
