i do not believe that it is cancelled forever. family guy is a very good one i must admit, but american dad, and cleveland show is going down. i am not sure if they'll cancel them someday, because cleveland show is about a black family, and cancelling it would be "racially incorrect", and american dad is about the perfect american man. but, we southerners, also deserve a show, and KotH is THAT show.

What I love about Hank Hill is his gullability, he buys fishing bait from a "street vendor" and has no idea it's really crack cocain, he becomes a pimp complete with the pimp car and hat and has no idea. My friend told me recently that the show only revieled what Boomhower did for a living at the end of the very last episode, anyone know the answer? Think about it, Hank=Propain salesman, Bill=Army barber, Dale=Exterminator, But they never said what old Boomhower did. Love Family Guy too!

Bobby is destined to be like his dad, Lucky and Luanne are seen playing with their baby, and Boomhaur places a policeman badge with his photo ID on the table before all the characters collaborate on dinner at Hank's. Maybe it's just something I picked up, but it's the first time they showed evidence of his job.

I think what really killed the show was Fox's need in competing with "Football Night in America" with "The OT." That only left two hours of Sunday programming in the fall, and US TV believes we still need 9-month seasons. That's how they got screwed. I'll agree they deserve the spot Bob's Burgers doesn't deserve. At least McFarlane's shows perform...

American Dad is okay but gets too political,political humor is hard to pull off, it usually makes some laugh and others roll there eyes, and the Cleavland show has yet to make me laugh and I've seen every episode in the first season.

The series was cancelled in 2008 they allowed the final season to air through 2009 though.

The finale of King of the Hill aired on September 13, 2009 and Brittany Murphy died on December 20, 2009, three months after the finale aired. Therefore, her death was not the reason for the show being cancelled because she died three months after it ended.
