@federal401 Were that truly the case, I'd applaud that totally. John Q. and George, Benjamin, Andy Jackson, and a lot of the boys would roll over in their graves if they saw the idiotic dependency we have on other nations, as opposed to using all the minds and efforts of the people we send overseas, we could darn sure use them here working on an ALTERNATIVE energy source, and leave the whole region alone.
thats the most ignorant thing ive ever read, hes a liar no doubt, but wy dont you go back tot he marines and get shot already, thats what the armys for, getting rid of the stupidest parts of the population.
"the number on threat on US interests an US lives and that's Al qaeda" wtf that is such bull shit.....alqaeda is no where close to the number one threat on the lives of the US
The US will probably end up doing the same thing with Canada to secure the resources there, seeing as canada's military is pathetically small they will submit as canada's economy is completley dependant on trade with the us and theyd have nobody to sell to with a decrease in demand on their resources resulting in a worthless canadian dollar. As for mexico they have a fair sized force but will fail in comparison to the might of the united states. There's your north-american union.
The US is so friendly with Saudi's because everything depends on the cost of the oil in USD, this is why you see the bush's kissing saudi ass because we're screwed if the relationship fails. In exchange for oil the us helped to modernize the kingdom of saudi arabia. The surrounding countries are less compliant with US foriegn policy and will fight until the end because they know whats happening. The war on terror will never stop until all the oil is secured by force or negotiation.
The EU doesn't need to pull its weight in this war because the euro is actually gaining value and dominance in the world market, while the US struggles to maintain it's hyperinflating fractional reserve economy which will collapse when the oil stops flowing. Since the 70's US has been decieving 3rd world countries with loans that end up back in the pockets of us corporations and screwing that nation into debt, so the us takes their oil. This is how the empire is built, it's out of desperation.
YOU FUCKING LIAR!! Terrorism is a scam, al-quaeda is a scam. US wants oil, because thats its only asset on it's failing federal reserve system. The US will overtake all mid-east countries for oil iran next. The moment the saudi's stop selling oil for $US and for euros instead we will see all out war and the US will unleash full military force to secure the assets. The dollar is becoming worthless and the european union along with russia will emerge as the worlds next superpower. WW3 is close.
ishooz...americans should have known what they were getting with regards to foreign policy from the berlin speech in june 2008...while he sugar coated the language, it resembled the us and them language bush uses - the main difference was that he said he would like europe to be part of "us" again. this should come as no surprise to anyone who is paying attention.
I'm glad someone else finally picked up on that. The war on terror was never popular in Europe & NATO nations. People looked at the big crowd Obama drew, but should've noticed no one clapped in Germany when he said Europe had a responsibility to contribute troops to Afghanistan & Pakistan etc. to fight & pay for America's idiotic war.
Even if Obama's popularity won't be affeted, our respective NATO governments' will if they drag us deeper into war.
Honestly get off this all Americans are warmonger idiots for a second and assess what the eff is happening in this world. Do you remember the bombings in Madrid? Did you open a newspaper last week? see anything about that whole mess in India.
No country in this complex, complex world can be perfect, a lot of these policies have bad effects but you have to do what you have to do.
I can't stand this superiority complex of denizens of other countries when in comes to the U.S.
@awalms Please dont get the impression that all americans are like this, like most other countries in the world we have been brain washed by a matrix of lies, a psychological bombardment of B.S. BUT there are bushfires of freedom burning everywhere and more and more people are waking up everyday all over the world. A revolution of mind is going on its sort of a evolutionary state. Trying to stay optimistic. perception means a lot.
Not a single country is this world is perfect, nor should any country sit idly as the middle east continues to be in disarray.
Note: A country known as Iran is becoming atomically armed and has a populace that believes the country of Israel an abomination. In order to resolve problems such as these through diplomacy one needs the backing of other countries. So perhaps Europe and the NATO countries should pull their weight.
Furthermore, I do not support more war. I support a united global effort. It seems like the popular foreign thing is just to go against America in everything regardless of actual judgment of their own.
P.S. I just have to include the mere fact that sending American men over to Europe to die, during the first American Great Depression, was an unpopular thing but something we as people had the responsibility to do so.
P.P.S My go to argument with anti-American foreigners
he is so fake good luck USA

His name is Hussein Obama. He was named after an Arab dictator who committed genocide. What more can we expect?

The "war on terrorism" is a pardox in itself, since war is terrorism and terrorism is war. One can not kill fire with fire.
