You're missing the point. If you read his book you'll understand he points out 3 things. You have to live in an area where you can do what you want, have the attitude to want to put in the sacrafice it takes and finally the ability to sustain that no matter what. You really think Pele and Maradona just picked up a ball and scored goals?
Read the book and than you'll understand he's not wrong, at least according to your response.
Malcom is wrong......... You're not a Pele or a Maradona because you sacrifice yourself. At the end of the day, if you don't have it in you, no amount of work can totally compensate it......... what he describes is quite scary to me actually. Because he is wrongly attempting to redefine the word talent. In this new definition everyone ca be just as talented as anyother person existant, provided they commit in at least the same manner..........
Talent really is more than just gift. Think of your favorite athletes. Some continually improve throughout their careers because they practice. I'm from philadelphia. Imagine Allen Iversen - if you are a basketball fan, if he would have been as dedicated as he was "talented (in the sense of being gifted)".
@daddycubjudah nope, its matthew 25:29 "For unto everyone that has shall be given, and he shall have abundance. But from him that has not shall be taken away even that which he has."
