  • @MikeAndSuch What exactly are you talking about?

  • The fix for this is replacing the screen. The inverter that is under the display will not correct the problem, the problem in the inverter attached to the back of the screen not being able to turn on the bottom lamp.

  • Replaced my inverter due to error code 0326 via dell diagnostics. Still have the lines in the display. How the hell do you fix this issue?

  • What is the fix for this? I have the same problem with mine. Is is basically swapping out the led panel? Thanks

  • LED LCD just means that instead of fluorescent backlighting you have LED to light it up instead.

I would recommend ditching Windows permanently for Linux.

  • well you said refurb. i was gonna say probably gpu issues as well but

  • hey guys i have a question would dell do anything about this i got a Dell Tech to come by my house yesterday to replace my keyboard on my Dell M1530 and they scratched the shit out of the piece where my power button is and what not would they replace that or no

  • Well why did you not watch and tell the technician to replace the part he damaged?! I have m1530 and almost all of the rubber feet are gone, so flimsy, the GPU temp is frying my card, I am so DONE with dell and I should have honestly bought a Mac. I'm quite ready to migrate to Ubuntu and OSX next year. This sucks!

  • i have a probem. my dell xps m1530 alway does a very annoying clicking sound. it is like a watch ticks. pls help me i am about to start reading for my MSc dissertation and that anoying sound is driving me crazy i cant focus while reading or surfing the websites

  • Quick Fix 1: Don't Buy Dell's The Quality Has Gone To The Dogs

Quick Fix 2: Buy A Mac, You Can Run Windows As Well

And Have A Really Good All Round System!

  • Ultimate fix: M1530 eats Mac for breakfast, anyday...IF you're savvy enough to solve its "little" quirks.

  • Quick Fix 3: Build your own PC and have the best computer you've ever owned!!!

I think quick fix 3 is the best option!!!

  • i got a problem with the lcd screen where there was a blue verticle line on it. I emailed dell and the next day Dell's technitian came and replace the whole display. The technitian even brought a new motherboard just in case it was the motherboard that's causing the problem. Now its fixed. Good service.

  • this is going to make me sound dum but can u conect this to the internet with out geting a adapter or some thing to stik in to it

  • If you got insurance from dell you wouldent have this issue

  • That issue is irrelevant. I had received the laptop in that condition- therefore they needed to replacement. Now, I do agree with you on the insurance idea if it had been happening a year or two down the road. Maybe I will purchase the insurance on it at some point.

  • Haha, Dell probably just tried turning it on, it would have worked and they would have said, righto, this lappys good. Has anything happened on Dells part since you made this vid?

  • @MikeAndSuch Hahahaha lol. weird how people go through so much to get something simple done.

get the proper dell stuff dude. netsurit com

  • Your screen looks really bad!! That is NOT NORMAL what so ever. Check out my two videos on my M1530 I had and issue with the display type. Is yours an LG or Samsung? Just curious. Dell production quality in my experence have recently gone down hill.

  • for the finger print reader. skip the tutorial and then start scaning any finger. the tutorial is going to say bad quality no matter what but the actual scanning to save your finger print will work.
