@robzbobz I do use distortion, but not heavy at all. The original guitar track seems to have a small amount of distortion so I did the same, keeps it from sounding too 'clean'.

@sheild34 dude, chill. I play with the original track because a lot of it is improvised, I learned it by ear so its far from perfect and improvising over silence just sounded crappy. I also tried to make my guitar sound distinctly different from the actual song's guitar samples, so you know whats me and what is'nt. It just worked better for me - sorry.
