PC gaming is the only gaming platform that will live, apart from the other countless useful stuff, it kills the consoles performance wise and graphics wise PERIOD. Get a killer PC, save money on the games (PC games cost half as much) and you won't need to update for a LONG time. You'll be able to edit your own videos easily and also won't have to pay for a PVR (unless you get another HDD to record, which cost 1/4 of what a PVR costs anyways).
